Anyone know why the camera connection kit can't be used with the iPhone?There are several previous posts about this. None with WHY. Some do refer to:[URL]Read reviews of poor speed assocaited with SD card reader + iPhone. Could this be a limitation of the SDK for iOS or the hardware itself?

If the iPads can use a micro sd card reader then why can't the iPhone 4S use it? My wife has a PPC G4 PB that has her music that we have for our regular iPod nano we use. Now that we both got the 4S she of course wanted to put her music on to the new phone and get the pics off of her old cell and put them onto her new 4S. The one work around I found to do for the pics was drop box. It's a pain in the rear but it works. Just doesn't work for music. So since iTunes 4.2 and Mac OS 10.4 don't work for the 4S I've been thinking of biting the bullet and just buy a new Mac for my wife. Then I saw the camera kits. Some say 4S OK. But the kit has to be first connected to an iPad then have a usb cable connected to the 4S in order to swap pics. Why can't the kit just hook up to the 4S and then swap the pics to the sd card? Why does it need the iPad for it to do it? If Apple would had allowed 10.6 to use iCloud I could have used my MPB to upload the iTunes library of hers and then have her log in to her account on the 4S.

Is there such a thing to copy business cards to my iphone contacts? I have tones of cards but I really could use lots of the numbers on my phone, is there a way to copy them to iphone and save them to contacts? (I'm talking 140 at least).

I have broken my e71 phone and want to retrieve the contacts (phone numbers / names) that were saved on the micro sd card. I have a PC usb card reader and can see the microsd directory structure, however I do not know where the contacts are stored. Does anyone know how I can retrieve the numbers from the microsd card?

The REFLOW option is missing. The version that it shows me is Adobe Reader LE 2.5.202 Nokia_S603.0. Please let me know hw do I get reflow done .Its really disgusting that nokia does not provide a Reflow Option for such application.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWe have card readers connected to our copiers at work linked to Active Directory. So my ID card is registered to the software and tied to my AD account. Friday by mistake I touched my phone on the photocopiers card reader and it said the card wasnt registered. I input my Active Directory details and registered my phone to the software.
Thing is that when I went to log back into the copier with my phones NFC it said that the card wasnt registered. I registered again and tried to log in again but it said again that the NFC wasnt registered.
I logged into the photocopier management software and see that my ID card is there and 2 other entries that seem to be linked to my phones NFC. Is it normal that NFC changes its ID every time or can I set it to be one ID only.

View 8 Replies View RelatedGot my Vivaz this Friday and it seems to have a fault with the card reader from factory. My Vivaz won't talk with the supplied 8GB MicroSD card or any other MicroSD card. The phone will notice if there are a card or not in the reader but can't access it, just reporting a faulty card.
Inserting or removing using Vivaz menu commands works and tells whether or not a card is inserted. Have tested three different MicroSDs 2,8 and 16 GB all works with Win7 and a X10 Mini, the Vivaz can't read or write to none. Sadly the Vivaz is useless with just the phone memory.
I just got the droid turbo yesterday. I am trying to download my pics from my old phone with a Transcend RDP9 card reader but it is not being recognized. Nothing happens when I plug it in. The light on the reader comes on but nothing on the phone.

I am facing the above problem with my recently bought LG G3. the content lock option works for both files stored in sd card and on internal storage. but to view them via unlock option is only with sd card files. if a file is locked on internal storage it has to be moved to sd card to unlock and view.

I have seen the option before, and it is in the manual, but neither of my E72s (both with latest s/w) will format the card, either as it was, with 14GB data, or formatted in Windows (7) and clean as the proverbial whistle.

When I activated the phone for her I discovered there is no toggle option to move any Apps from internal storage to the SD Card. This is usually found by going to Settings-Manage Apps-Download-App Info as a toggle "Move to SD Card/Move to Internal Storage". I went to Motorola's chat and exhausted their knowledge base and was then directed to a phone support number. After talking with a level 1 and level 2 help persons, they synched into my wife's phone and then compared a Razr M on their end. They finally admitted that the move option does not appear in the Razr M version of ICS. This is a critical omission considering the limited size of the Razr M internal storage.I was told by the level 2 that there might be Apps available to fix the problem. I tried App2SD but found it directed me back to the missing toggle.Is this true of all Razr M phones or is it a bug in the software of only a few? In either case, is there a service patch available to correct it?
View 13 Replies View Relatedam trying to fully clean up my phone for the next potential owner by doing a cache wipe, wiping all data from the phone and doing an SD card format.I had no problems getting into the recovery console and doing the cache & data wipe, but every time I go into settings/storage (in the normal phone powered up mode), the option to format the SD card is greyed out? I was able to connect the DX in PC mode to my computer and manually delete the items on it, but I wanted to do a clean format.

Once the internal storage was awfully full and came a notification that said "75% full, transfer data to sd card" tried it like always but this time it fails to start. edit: my photos are now copying over to my PC. I guess it just took a while calculating all that data? I'd still like to know if the recovery tool erases the SD card though.
I recently purchased a Nokia 5310 Xpress Music about a week ago. It is a great phone, but the problem I am experiencing has to with the memory card. When I try to format it, I select "Options" while "Memory Card" is highlighted but I do not have the option of formatting it. Is there something wrong with my phone? Currently, my phone is V 06.68, which I am assuming is the latest version, since I have the Nokia Ovi Suite installed, and when I select "Update", it says I have the latest version.
