View 2 RepliesFor one weekn now the display won`t turn off while recieveing or giving calls on my sgs2. I know the proximity sensor is responsible for this, but it seems to work properly, as i tested it in LCD test mode (dialing *#0*#). I`ve tried restarting it or looking for any possible setting, but nothing works.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI found many games include: greedy pigs, catoon defense 2, battle heart, etc ... (I purchased from android market) will randomly freeze during the game play if I turn on the sound! However, if I turn off the sound (I mean turn off the sound option in game, not mute the media volume), then all games runs without any problem.
Not every game will have this problem. For example, angry birds, finding difference, air attack, etc... No problem at all. It looks to me that most of defence games and real time strategy games are in this case. It's just the game itself freezed, not the whole system. I can still use "home" to go back to the main screen then kill the game app.
I'm using vodafone version s2 and already updated to the lastest firmware.
becaus eits starting to drive me mad and i cant find a solution (I have a non rooted phone, which ideally i wish to keep non rooted)

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I get into the car, I sometimes plug the S5 into my car stereo's aux input via a 3.5mm audio cable. I can play anything just fine(streaming music or MP3/FLAC/WAV files stored on the phone). When I'm listening to the car stereo itself(CD, FM/AM, etc), I usually leave the phone plugged in. If I want to use Google Maps voice navigation, I'll have to physically disconnect the 3.5m audio cable if I want to hear the voice navigation on my phone. (again, this is when I'm only playing a CD on the car stereo)Is there a way to get around this so that I don't have to plug/unplug in the aux input cable all the time?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the United States and using a Nokia Lumia 920. I think I have the latest Nokia Maps and Drive. Downloaded my maps so I basically use Drive in offline mode.
Overall very happy. Does Drive have turn by turn navigation wih specific names and exits? Right now it only says stuff like "turn now".
ive changed the settings in my network according to the way they are supposed to be any sim i place in my phone does not allow callin or texting the phone is unlocked. Also went in to call settings and it says network or sim error each time i try with a diffrent sim. when i placed my sim in another samsung gs2 it was working fine i could call text surf the net etc?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I put it in the car dock the voice controls work great, and when I navigate the voice from the phone is fine. I have bluetooth built into my car, and so when I enable bluetooth, I can now make calls on the phone using the car's voice controls, and I can hear the calls over the car's speakers, but I lose all voice functionality on the phone. That is, I can no longer speak to the phone and get it to respond, even though it's on the voice-activation screen. There is also no voice from the phone, for example in navigation. It doesn't come from the phone nor from the car's speakers. As soon as I turn bluetooth off, all that functionality comes back.
Any ideas on how to rectify this? I'd like to hear the navigation through the car's speakers ideally, or otherwise, at least be able to hear it from the phone's speakers and have the phone respond to voice commands while having bluetooth enabledSecondary issue: there's no more alert for received text messages when I get one with my Galaxy. My previous phone worked fine, so I know it's not a car system issue. This is less important, but I'm still curious.
The navigation wont work after my latest upgrade, do i need to change the settings anywhere?
View 7 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of how I would possibly be able to retrieve photos from my Samsung Galaxy S2 that has a non-fuctioning screen? The rest of the phone works - it charges, turns on (the 4 buttons light up as well as the light on the top) and the speakers for the ringtones and alerts works as well. I am desperate to get the pictures and am seeking all advice possible.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am searching for a free apps - voice guided navigation using gps in Samsung galaxy s2. bought samsung galaxy s2 recently.y friend, a die hard fan of Apple's products showed me his I Phone4 with a newly downloaded apps (Sygic- a voice guided navigation system).FYI, Apple's IPhone / IPad is able to download the Voice guided GPS navigation Apps (Sygic) and use it for free. Users can also update the maps from time to time. *After apple users 'jail-break' their devices, they are able to download many apps for free, including Sygic*ut for Samsung GS2 / Tab users, they are only able to download Sygic and use it for trial periods of 7 days.Subsequently, they have to pay $$.Now I am facing this problem, the apps keep asking me to key in the activation code which I will be getting the code after paying them.
So, i am searching everywhere for the similar apps (free apps), but couldn't get.The preloaded apps in my SGS2 when i bought are Google Maps, Navigate (a blue triangle icon). "Navigate" is good and accurate, but the only thing is there is no turn-by-turn (tbt)voice guidance. I prefer to have a tbt voice guidance as I don't have to look at my phone and I can concentrate more on the road / traffic while i am driving.
The sound on my phone wont work. My music wont play, you cant hear the keyboard noise or the lock noise, and when someone calls i cant hear what they are saying unless I put them on speaker or put headphones in. When the headphones are plugged into my phone, the sound works fine! i would like to know why the speakers ownt work anymore
Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1
Is it only possible to use one sound for all notifications? I thought I'd be able to set different sounds for email, text, calendar. I also use BT Fon app for wifi and this uses the same as all the rest.
I've set tone for email in email settings but now that gets played as well as the tone that's set for notifications in settings>sound>notification ringtone, when I only need one alert.
How do I turn off the T-Mobile "song" when I turn on my Samsung Galaxy 6?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I push the button to light up my screen (phone's already on), it makes an obnoxious sound. This happens every time I activate the phone, and I need it to stop. I've looked through all my sounds and notifications, and I don't see any way to make it stop. Surely there is one, tho..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've seen numerous websites detailing how to turn off the shutter sound but none the other way around. My camera does not make any sounds when I take a picture and there is no toggle in the settings to turn it back on. I haven't downloaded any app to turn off the sound either. I know the sound exists because when I take a screenshot it makes the familiar "click" but no sound when I take a picture with the camera.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a G920F and the boot animation is not working as it should. I'm on 6.0 Beta and don't think the problem is coming from the beta because if I remember correctly, the first time I booted the beta everything went smoothly. I am not rooted and the phone is completely clean.
The problem isn't a big one, but it isn't working normally. When I boot my S6, the 'Galaxy S6' screen comes, then no boot animation is shown, a black screen is shown instead, then after the small vibration, the boot animation is then shown without the sound. (an the phone is not in silent/vibrate mode)
My guess is flashing a new stock ROM fixes the problem, but I don't have enough time to sort the settings and stuff out after flashing.
not long had my s2 and do like it a lot, when trying to use the built in alarm (from going in the clock icon), when ever i try to set time it constantly has the alarm sound as 'good morning' and i am having to set the sound to the sound i want every time i create a new alarm, is there anyway to set the phone up so anytime i create an alarm it will use the sound i want by default?
