I have an S2 and wanted to show someone my website. Whenever it tries to connect, the URL at the top changes from what I type and an "m" appears in the middle. I have asked friends to try the address and it loads just fine.

I have been having endless problems with the BB browser by constantly getting one of the ffg messages:Unable to connect to the internet...Cannot open website - error 10005Unable to connect to network - even though the signal shows full 3G, BB etcThis is sooo frustrating, I've never had any problems with the old phone.I've now resorted to using the Opera (mini) and that works like a charm, except you don't get the BB menu when you press the BB button (it brings up the address bar) so you can't switch bet apps.How can I sort this browser issue, esp the error 10005. I can get onto those sites using opera but not the BB browser.

The phone says that I have connected, but complains that I have no network connection at those times.
Word documents are only partly opening on my SII. eg only the first two pages of an 8-page doc, or six pages of a 20-pager.he problem doesn't seem to be application-specific because it's the same in Polaris Office or OI File Manager. The files themselves are complete - if I connect the phone to a PC using usb and open the files on the PC, the documents open with all pages, but on the phone only the first few pages are shown.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was recently on a call when I noticed that I'd lost audio. I'd had the same problem before, but a reboot always fixed it before. This time, a reboot didn't help.After rebooting a second time, I connected my phone to my PC using a USB cable and loaded Samsung PC Studio. (As silly as it may sound, this step fixed my wife's phone several months back when it started to severely lag between keypresses.) No help there, either.I then turned the volume all the way up, started playing a song on my phone, and held my ear up close to the receiver. I could hear a very, very faint sound.
As soon as I slid the phone shut, the speaker went back to full volume.If that were the end of it, I could live with a silly workaround (make call, put call on speakerphone, slide phone shut, take call off speakerphone). But on a recent call, after using the usual workaround, I lost audio even with the phone slid shut.
Samsung tech support walked me through resetting my phone settings to factory defaults (Menu > Settings > (9) Reset Settings > Select "Phone Settings" > OK > Confirm). Still no go. I stopped short of wiping the phone completely because I didn't want to lose my Address Book and because I strongly believe the internal speaker is dying.Whenever the audio has cut in and out, it sounds exactly like a speaker shorting out.
I don't want to get a new phone and extend my contract with AT&T. I don't want to move to another cell phone provider yet (I'm hoping to hold out for when the Galaxy Nexus comes to Sprint then wait for the first price drop), either. I don't want to have to use a Bluetooth headset every time I make or receive a call. (Bluetooth audio works just fine.) And there's no way I can justify paying Samsung $70 to fix a phone I got in 2008.
I have tried to download games to my Samsung T401g by using the website Umnet and choosing games that are suppose to be meant for my particular phone, but I am unable to open the games once they are on the phone. I would like to know if anyone knows how to do this and would they mind sharing step by step instructions with me. I have been successful in downloading videos, music, ringtones, and wallpaper. I would really like to download a few games.

On the canadian site which i have all my other samsung products registered, there is no listing for my model number (GT-I9250TSDTLS (this is whats on the box, phone menu just lists my model as Samsung Galaxy Nexus, though the label under that battery shows GT-I9250M as the model number..how am I supposed to register my phone?[URL]..shows that galaxy owners can get a free copy of angry birds space... how do I get that?
