Apr 27, 2014I just got my S5. I am trying to add a much needed added layer of security to the device through either a password or finger print. I have gone through the process of enabling both, each time when I return the lock screen it is not enabled?? Settings clear show it is on.
I restarted the device, upon restart the finger print scanner was enabled upon restart. but once i return back to the lock screen it is gone. Why they wont stay enabled or enable at all?
Figured out it was set to only enable after 10 mins of no activity.

May 25, 2015Everytime I press the power button on my Samsung to wake it up, it automatically comes up with the 'no match' message, thinking that there is always a finger on the button, meaning it instantly sends me to the back up password screen.
When on the fingerprint set up tab in settings it still thinks that a finger is placed on the home button, if I try to add a new fingerprint I can leave my phone laying down without touching it and the phone starts adding up in percentages as if I was adding my own fingerprint, yet I'm not even touching it.

I typed in my correct email and password but its saying my password is invalid. I know its not invalid because I just used it on my computer. So now i really stuck..what do i do? Feb 3, 2010WM 6.1 upgrade went without problem, but now I have issue with Wi-Fi access.PIE is unable to open any websites if the phone connects to any secured wireless network.(WEP, WPA, WPA2)Only time the wi-fi would work is when I connect to non-secured network.When I was on WM 6.0, I had no issues what so ever, so this is a new problem and I know I setup the network correctly. (Router issues IP address and network card receives IP address.)Looks like it happened to couple of others as well, but there does not look to be any remedy for it.
Of course about 90% of the time I will be connecting to non-secured network, so it should not be a too large an issue, but if possible, I would like to fix this.According to the search, only remedy I have seen is a guy contacting Samsung and getting WM 6.0 re-flashed on the phone. Other than 6.0 reflash, could there be any other potential resolution that I have overlooked?
