Nokia :: E72 Vs E75 - Good Web Browsing And Mails Speed?
Jan 2, 2010i want to buy a nokia phone but hesite between two phones : E72 and E75, does anybody could sould me to buy, i want in this order:
1/ good web browsing and mails speed
2/ GPS compass for wikitude drive
3/ playing game as uae4all with good speed
at the start of my search i would absolutly the N900 after seeing lot of but and battery life i go back to another phone and see that best battery life is normal phone with keyboard not with touchscreen so i hesitate beetwen the E75 with big screen and new E72.

Nov 8, 2012I am using blackberry curve 9320. I used bb internet for 3 months till then I got an awesome downloading speed of 350 kB/sec. But after that the downloading speed becomes very very slow about 9-10 kB/sec.

I pressed the Off button but now, despite pressing the start button, the phone will not come alive, although it was recently charged. May 8, 2010How to browse (intranet) websites via VPN connection? I have installed Lotus MC on my N73. Connection itself works fine, I can see correct status, can ping my phone from PC by phone's intranet IP, telnet from phone to intranet server is always ok even by HTTP 80 port, both by hostname and IP. But I cannot get to intranet web using neither standard Nokia browser, nor Opera Mini.
With standard browser, it's just impossible to select VPN access point (present in the list, but not selectable) and Opera Mini allows to select my VPN connection, but all I can see there is an error that server is unavailable.

I can make calls, however when I attempt to use maps, setup email, browse, it won't connect. For maps I get the msg: "Your device is not configured for BIS or BES access" Email setup: "Device had a problem connecting to the server"
I have read that this means my carrier is not recognizing my device, or vice versa?

Since which time I am unable to browse the internet.
Have removed service books, restarted the device (battery pull) Have removed the hotspot profile , restarted device (battery pull) Totall out of ideas. This device is running OS 6, but I recal lin OS 5 there was the option to force the browser to use hotspots .

Apr 25, 2010Frankly speaking with most of the Fancy Features that the N900 offers it is a question, how many users choose to use it to its full potential. For a user like me I am gonna use my phone a lot to surf the web, check some cool sites etc.
I have been also checking out Motorola's Droid which has a 3.7" Inch screen with 16:9 wide screen Ratio the other day I had a chance to surf the web on it, and let me tell you guys it was a very good experience. I have still not had my hands on the Nokia N900. Does the N900 also give the same viewing pleasure, which includes excellent picture quality, wide vieweing(what I mean by wide viewing is, not watching anything in constricted, narrow view) Real Life picture colours etc.
What I am saying is with the Droid I did not feel I was watching anything in a very constricted and Narrow view, is the experience and the feeling also the same with the N900.

Apr 29, 2010After I recently updated my OS on the Torch (and had a ton of issues with the battery drain) I have noticed that occasionally when I am on the web it removes hyper links -- like if I'm reading a news story and it has a link to a previous story it's just blank. Or if I'm on Facebook (the mobile web edition, not the app) it has blank spots where my friends names would normally be. I can't click on a link, even when I know it's there, so the link is not only hidden but not useful.
It's happened about 5 or 6 times since the upgrade. I do pull the batter and do a reset and everything goes back to normal, but that gets annoying after awhile.
