View 2 RepliesMy BB suddenly died - just blinking red. I've tried everything, installing new OS, installing without battery, all the ways - Error reconnecting.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI plugged my 9790 into my PC to sync with desktop manager and was offered a software upgrade first. Desktop Manager loaded new software ok. The Device Software update started and the back up went fine. Software seemed to download ok but is now stuck during the install at 'Reconnecting to JVM'. It has been like this for hours. The screen of the 9790 shows the clock although a reminder message came up which I cancelled - now back to the clock. The text in the update window says that the device must not be disconnected during the update process as it might render it unusable.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWell I've been generally happy with my Storm, despite it lagging at every turn but I think I fried it today.
I was in the middle of receiving txt msgs and pins and trying to get the screen to switch from landscape to regular portrait and I got the little clock. This time it never went away, I pulled the battery and when it tried to boot back up, it would give a small message that I couldn't read because at that point the screen goes dark... and then it would try to reboot. I think it just overworked itself to death.
So I can't connect to my computer, I can't do anything with it. I 'technically' have water damage because since the phone was dropped in a bit of snow a few weeks back (but water never got into the phone, the phone worked fine!)... the water damage indicator is (all too conveniently) located right next to the edge of the battery cover.
My phone has been getting worse and worse by the day. First the i had horrible battery life when i was on phone calls, it would only last 30 min tops with a full battery. Then i was listening to the sirius radio app for about 15 min and my storm had a random reset. At first i said oh no problem it will be back up soon. So i waited and waited and when it finaly came back up i had a dead battery with 2% left. I was like wtf happened. I had about 80% when it reset and it came back with 2%. So then i did a battery pull to see if the phone just had a little problem with booting up. When it came back it had 22% battery but it only lasted about a min before it decided to reboot again. This time it wouldnt come back on. It was an endless reboot going again and again. The only way to stop it was to plug it in the wall and charge it up again. Last night it did the same thing when i was on the internet for only 5 min.
I tried all the different hybrids and nothing works. I dont know what to do now. Is it the battery or is it the phone?
My iphone 3g is stuck in dead battery mode. I tried charging it for days.

iPhone 3G, iOS 4.2
I tried to upgrade to Android 2.1 and now my phone loads until the Samsung logo is up and the bar goes all the way but then it gets stuck.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLast night, I left my phone on charge. It was working normally and the software was functional etc. However, once I woke up, the phone was constantly restarting itself, and wouldn't load past the boot animation. I tried to load up fastboot to enter the TWRP recovery, however, the phone froze on the load screen. I should also add that my custom boot animation was replaced by the CyanogenMod mascot.
I tried to use WugFresh's NRT to flash a factory image of Android 6, however, the command terminal indicated that each process had failed. This did not restore the phone to its original condition.
I should also point out that I have been running a CM 12.1 nightly, which has been very stable and I have been using this nightly, without major problems (bar the infrequent system UI crashes) for a couple of months. It is obviously rooted and I have a Nandroid backup, which I can't access for aforementioned reasons.
my friend blackberry is stuck at this stage and we've tried everything except using another computer. we tried nojvm but the option is not showing on my laptop for unknown pin so theres no way to bypass this. ive been at this for days now and dont know what else to do. is there something we're not doing right or we should be doing/
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy iphone keeps disconnecting/reconnecting to my pc laptop. Sometimes it connects to itunes and usually it doesnt. When it does connect to itunes it automatically tries to back up and sync but disconnects during the syncing process. I've tried reinstalling itunes, fixing apple mobile device support, and updating driver software. not sure what else to do.

I'm trying to connect my iphone to my pc. It keeps "connecting" and "reconnecting". Its getting very frustrating. I'm not sure why its doing this. First an error comes up that says "iTunes cannot install apps to iPhone "Ryan's iPhone 4S" because the apps installed on the phone could not be determined." another error is "The iPhone "Ryan's iPhone 4S" cannot be synced. The required disk space cannot be found".

i dont remember my secret pattern code, then i want to know how to unlock my blackberry storm 9530 or reset.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Blackberry to version 5 from 4.6, and it seems to be having trouble keeping a data connection on 3G, as well as wifi occasionally. It will connect to for a short while (under a minute) to data and the blackberry services but whenever I try to download anything or after a certain amount of time it will disconnect. Wifi is more stable but it does seem to disconnect every now and then. It works fine on GPRS. I've resent the service books a couple of times and I've done multiple battery removing reboots, yet it still keeps doing it. Does anyone have any ideas?

View 2 Replies View RelatedA couple of months ago my Lumia 1020 (about 7 months old at the time) started having trouble connecting to the computer via USB cable. My computer runs Windows 8.1. I'll plug it in and it will connect but then disconnect/reconnect every few seconds afterwards until it disconnects completely. I have tried restarting the phone, restarting the computer, installing new drivers for the phone on the computer, cleaning the microUSB slot on the phone. I have been using the original cable. It works fine when I use the cable to charge through a wall outlet.

I have system set for auto reconnect but that doesn't seem to be working obviously.
I have a blue tooth music receiver and even after I discount from it on my device it immediately reconnects. I like to leave my Bluetooth on 24/7 because I use it for several different devices....
View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since I first got the s6 a couple of months ago it is constantly reconnecting to the WiFi.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed that the wifi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting right after everytime I transfer significant amount of data. I also noticed that the frequency of the drops are proportional to the amount of data downloaded.
For exemple, if I simply load a light page it drops and reconnects maybe once or twice, but if I'm close to the router (higher speed) and try downloading some heavy package it disconnects and reconnects every 5 seconds. Seems like it can't handle high speed data transfer.
I've already tried testing all the 12 channels on my router, and I also have the smart switch disabled. In addition to that, I live with 3 guys and none of their devices show any problem so I hardly think that the problem is the modem or the router.
I've also tried a hard reset and this problem has been showing even before I upgraded to Lollipop...
Recently, I've been noticing that my signal inductor is regularly (approx every 1-2mins) dropping to zero and then regaining signal.Due to this, I've experienced several dropped calls and network problems, and all the basic troubleshooting solutions don't seem to work.As its losing signal constantly, I've noticed that this is also rapidly draining my battery life.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1
So the last few days I've had problems with WiFi disconnecting and reconnecting over and over and thought that was the cause of my battery draining tons faster then normal, used to last at least most if not all day with pretty constant use and now it's barely making it 5 hours without needing a charge. Att pushed the 4.4.4 update today and after turning the WiFi smart switch back off the WiFi problem seems to be better but my battery is still draining, just not quite as fast.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have just got an Incredible S and think its great. However I am having bluetooth connection issues with my handsfree kit. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. The connection only seems to last 2 to 3 minutes. I have tried it with two different kits one a Motorola T505 and the second a BlueAnt S4. Both had the same problem. I then tried a car with a factory fitted bluetooth system and it did the same.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wi-fi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting constantly. It keeps losing the connection and then cycles back on. It does this every few seconds and won't keep a steady connection. It seems to have started with the update to ICS.

This has been happening since the Gingerbread 2.3.3 upgrade.
What are the steps for removing and reinstalling a sim card for the 9530? Is this one on the 101 series?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to update the OS to a Blackberry Bold 9900, I downloaded the official OS version from the wepbage. and the Desktop manager starts to erase the applications but, then, it stays in the Reconnecting to JVM message.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI noticed that when my phone was sitting still the screen would randomly turn on, not just to the ambident display screen but to the lockscreen. I realized it was happening anytime the phone lost its data connection and had to reconnect. I can replicate it by turning airplane mode on then off and immediately turning the screen off with the power button. After about 5 seconds, the screen turns on again on its own. I've tried disabling ambient display, daydream, tasker, and bluetooth, but it still happens. I have unlocked the bootloader and changed the dpi but everything else is stock, no root.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a question about the 9500. Im currently using the 9530 from verizon and was thinking about selling it and getting a 9500 cuz i have t-mobile and im tired of the EDGE/edge problem.....I was just curious if any of you happen to know if the 9500 has the EDGE/edge problem that the 9530 has with T-Mobile.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI wish there was an easy way for me to portray the amount of disdain I have for my Storm at this time, however, that won't do me any good!I'm just looking to get some insight to my problem and whether or not it can be resolved! It would be really unfortunate if I had to replace my lump of a phone as I am a college student that just moved away from home and am in the middle of my two-year contract. My phone is still in operating order minus the faulty touchscreen, it still receives messages, emails, and even phone calls. All the side buttons work, in short, the screen is just dead.I did not drop it nor spill any liquids on it and I've performed a plethora of battery pulls. I'm at a loss!Let me describe the events that occurred before (seemingly) death of my touchscreen. I was at a friends house preparing for a 9/11 5k race when I noticed my battery was running low so I left it in a safe place to quietly run out of steam because I had no need to carry a phone during a race. At this point it was still fully functional. After the race, I check my phone to see if it was out of power yet which it was. I get home later that night and charge it only to rudely surprised by an inoperable screen. I cleaned the screen and did a few battery pulls afterwards in hopes it was only a minor problem to no avail.
A little hardware information that may be of use:
Verizon Carrier
OS .328
I was also in a moderate car crash the day prior so perhaps that may have caused some problems? Externally, my phone is in mint condition. I suppose this just hasn't been my week!
Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.

It is stuck in the red light/black screen/white screen with hourglass cycle. I have tried reloading the OS through the Apploader. I have deleted the vendor.xml file. I have used the command prompt to type c:Program Files (x86)Common FilesResearch in MotionApploaderLoader ojvm. The Apploader program starts and I make sure to hit next at "PIN:unknown" The process starts and fails at the same point everytime, however when I reach the point where It states "reconnecting to jvm" during "wait for device initialization" i repeatedly get the error message "Application Loader was unable to reconnect with your device reconnect your device, enter the password if required and hit Retry". I downloaded the latest version of DM and them removed the program and installed the version on my original CD as suggested by another webpage. None of this has worked and I have tried the same process over 10 times. My BB is dead and just runs through the reboot cycle as described above?
