View 2 Replies9300 is unable to turn wifi on.She can turn on everything but wifi (even bluetooth). When she checks the box by "wi-fi", the phone loads for a while, and then automatically stops and the box is unchecked. We don't know what it is, soft orhardware

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have followed the instructions, my phone just wont simply turn on, or connect to the pc, even when i followed that, there's no red light when i hold the on button, there's no sign of connectivity when i connect it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf phone is turned off and left overnight, or for a few hours, it won't turn back on even though the battery is fine. To power it back on I need to put it on charge - it then automatically reboots and will work OK.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter charging my curve 9300 overnight, I unplugged the charger, and the phone did not turn on automatically. I tried turning it on manually with the red pone button, but that did nothing. I too the battery out, and then put it back in to reboot it. The phone still wouldn't turn on and the only sign of life was a long red LED light, before that went off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIve tried to restart my phone by taking the battery out, multiple times for the past few hours, my phone begins to load but it only loads up to three quarters of the way up the bar and freezes every time I have waited for 3 hours for it to turn on properly and it still hasnt?

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy curve 9300 got squashed and the screen is black with shapes pressed into it, I am insured so I am waiting on the new one but obviously I need to get all my data off the phone. it wont turn on & therefore can't be recognized by my PC and b/berry desktop manager, which is the only solution I can see.
View 1 Replies View RelatedA couple days ago my blackberry curve's battery died while I was on a bus. By the time I got back to a charger I noticed that it wouldn't turn on and when I plugged it into the wall, it wouldn't charge or indicate with the LED light that it was charging. I decided to pull out my battery and put it back in, and there was no results. I did the same thing but this time I plugged it into the computer, my curve was still inresponsive. I also left it plugged into a wall unit for +3 hours, when I came back, it still wasn't working.
TL;DR (too long; didn't read): My Curve won't turn on, the screen is completley black and the LED light doesn't flash or even turn on.
How Do U trun on your device radio for the Curve 9300?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had some troubles with my Bionic the past few weeks.I have a Wifi network at home but not in my Office or car.I will keep the Bionic's Wifi at home on all the time, but will turn it off whne I leave. Many times when I will either walk into another place of buisness or just get a text message when the Wifi is off,it will turn the Wifi on.So,it's searching for Wifi and taking the battery life down as well.I have taken the battery out with the Wifi on and rebooted.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a curve 9300 but I cannot connect to my home wifi, everytime I try it locates it and shows there is a good signal but I get a message saying "failed to associate with the network".I have entered the WEP key a dozen times with and without spaces so I'm very sure it's not that.I've attempted several battery pop reboots recommended by other forums.Everything else on the phone works fine, I'm receiving emails no problem, I have been using the internet, BBM and facebook fine and I have been downloading apps from the app world.I have also received a message from blackberry saying "your handheld has been registered with the wireless network".
View 2 Replies View RelatedCurve 9300 will not use wifi connection instead of network data services. I can connect to wifi networks just fine. The phone searches the networks out, connects, puts the little icon on the home screen to say it's connected to a wifi network. It lists the name of the network up the top. Everything's great, except that when you actually go to use the internet, the phone connects to your data services instead of the wifi and you get charged for data consumption.
If you turn off the network services to try and force the phone to connect to the wifi instead, you get the error message:
"You are not currently in an area that can handle data communication. As a result, the Browser cannot retrieve any web pages.try again when you are in a different location, or contact your service provider if the problem persists."
My month-old Blackberry Curve 9300 won't turn on. I plugged it in - to the wall - to charge earlier today and at that point it seemed fine - when I went back to check it, though, the screen was blank with a red light. I've tried turning it on, but the loading screen comes up, loads a tiny part of the way, and then a blank white screen appears, then I get an icon of a battery with a red cross through it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedCan't use BBM or Facebook with WIFI but some other apps work. What can the problem be. The phone says my router name at the top.I also pay for the data plan.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately it refuses to connect to my wifi. Everytime I try to connect I get a 'Failed to associate with the network' Message.
I've reset both my router and the phone plenty of times, I've checked my WEP passkey (We use WEP as my mum's Vista laptop doesn't seem to want to touch WPA), and well, we have had many devices on the router without issue so I doubt it's that. I've also tried disconnecting some devices from it to make sure the router isn't full up.
Phone is BlackBerry 9300
Platform 6.6.0.212
Whenever I leave WiFi range, BIS completely cuts out until I turn off and back on the mobile network. How do I fix this issue? It's incredibly annoying. I shouldn't have to turn off WiFi before I leave the house, the phone should just know to switch to mobile data if there's no connection on WiFi.
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy curve 9300 won't connect to my home wifi. I've tried every method possible, to no avail. I went to the telus store to ask about it, and a lady who clearly had no idea what she was talking about told me the curve is "just not powerful or high-end enough". I know someone who has a bold 9700 and it connected without a flaw to my home wifi.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI started to ask for help from the forum then solved it my self, so here is the problem AND below, the answer: I am trying to connect my 9300 to my home WiFi network ( LinkSys WRT54GS V4.0 router). The Curve can see my home Network when I scan but the connection brakes immediately, give an error message like it couldn't associate with the network.
I have spent hours waiting for and talking to: Telus: who reviewed my phone setup and told me the problem must be with the cable providerShaw Cable: who told me they had nothing to do with it and it must be a problem with my routerLinkSys: who told me that since my laptop had no problem seeing the internet that it must be my phone.....Then I tried RIM but couldn't find anything of help except (my last hope) the forums, where I found some inspiration and kept lookingMy Black Berry Curve 9300 is set up as follows: Options: Mobile Services > Data Services 'Off' (I don't want to run up big data bills unintentionally with pay-as-you-go data)Options > Advanced > Browser > HotspotUnder Manage Connections:Mobile Network: 'Telus' (has checkmark after),Wi-Fi 'On' (has black box with white line after)Manage Connections > Wi-Fi Options > Active Wi-Fi Connection = None (even after finding & saving my Network profile)Finally, I updated my Router software. It didn't help but I did learned how to back up my settings (Router Software > Administration > Config Management > Backup)
(Settings = all my addresses for the MAC filter etc. & other non default settings I'd made to increase wireless security)
just now bought new BB Curve 9300 and trying to connect with my home network router WRT54GH Linksys Cisco, with my current AES and TKIP settings it get connected, but when m trying to open browser or facebook app it says check your internet settings and not getting open, when i login in to router i can see my smartphone has ip alloted by router but when i look in to smartphone settings there were no ip confiured or not getting ping from phone to router since i had already spend my 10 hours, to get how can i get connected with my wifi internet but till no luck,
