I have set the home location to a non-street point near a road to check if it can route to it. As this was not a valid street name so I choose my current location from map.
When I ask to go DRIVE HOME, it say no route found. I try to chane the HOME LOCATION, as soon as I click on HOME LOCATION, program crash.
Is there any other way to set HOME LOCATION ? or to reset MAPs setting only ?
Does any please no how to set home location on ovi maps for the Nokia 5800.
Have have tried and searched everywhere but cant work out how to!
For instance if i go to Drive/ Drive Home How do i set up my home location.
I'm looking at Smart Settings but it won't do anything because it says my home location isn't set even though it's turned on in location services.

Any way to add a shortcut to the home screen to quickly toggle this GPS location based settings so I don't have to go into the main menu settings and talk to it that way?

The biggest letdown I experience is that google now no longer shows cards for my home or work, and I don't know how to bring it out. I checked all location settings are there. I am getting issues while using Nokia Drive + Beta, my position isn't moving when driving or taking 5 - 10 seconds to update then just freezes again.
it seems that i set destination, it finds me and my destination fine, i click start, it gives the first direction fine, i start driving and nothing, "my position" on the display doesn't move, the only way i can update it is "stop navigation" then "set destination" again where it picks up my new location.
i've ensured location services are on, location within the app is turned on, i've checked my connection is "online"...are there any other settings i should be aware of?

map colours automatic
updated maps
navigation licence is global
i am using it in a windscreen mount that grips the top and bottom of the phone with little "arms", i've tried in both landscape and portrait orientation. bluetooth is on and hoping to be playing music at the same time eventually.
i have been having the general "freeze out" issue recently with the phone where i lock it and then it doesn't come back on without a button reset, 2 times since friday
According to the specs of the E72 it should have an countdown timer. cannot find it however, did anyone find it? If it is not present, does someone have a good alternative timer for the E72. And the address where to download.

This software utilises the integrated GPS function of the X6, so the phone doesn't need to connect to the internet or use any data. In fact this function even works without a SIM card in the phone!I have now upgraded the X6 to a Lumia 710, however I cannot find any Location software built in.software that I can download so I can carry on Geocaching using Integarated GPS-(like on the X6) and not Assisted GPS-(where the phone uses the internet, and costs me money.)

I recently bought Nokia 5800XM and I have small problem. When I try to use Ovi maps and select My location it points me out to some place in London. First of all I thought its a problem with the GPS so I installed Google maps to check. The result was - Google maps application properly found my exact location(Sofia, Bulgaria, even the street was correct).Then I tried to remove all the maps and voice guidance files from my phone and installed ONLY the Bulgaria map and Bulgarian voice guidance file. However when I selected "My location" the GB(London) map was downloaded and the again I was pointed to some random location in London...
My phone software is updated to 50.0.005 and my Ovi Maps version is 3.04(updated today). Only Assisted GPS and Integrated GPS are enabled in App>Location>Positioning>Positioning Methods. I use the WAP services(HSDPA) provided by my operator(Mtel BG) to connect to internet.Is this some kind of hardware problem(in other words should I return my phone to the vendor) ? Or Ovi Maps are still in beta(or alpha) stage and can't be used for proper navigation ?

I was expecting the option of geo tagging in this new advance device as most of the other brands have but thats missing. Surprisingly when I checked on beta labs or ovi store I found Location Tagger application graduated from beta labs and gone. Any help please how I can Tag my location on photos? I've tried master resetting phone, location services are on, battery and sim pull, no improvement. Checking for updates in phone menu, says phone is up to date, so no OTA available.
Then tried connecting to Zune on laptop, Zune can't see phone when plugged into USB, although Windows did download and install drivers. Uninstall Zune and re-install to try to fix, no improvement.Why does Nokia Drive work, but check in won't?
From where can I change the location where the files must be saved when I start a download by WEB. Now it stores the files directly to the memory cardDOWNLOADED, can I change it to the mass storage?

The problem is the default contact location is phone memory and though i have copied the contacts to phone memory, if there is any incoming call or sms, the name doesnt appear even though i would have that persons contact stored.
Is there any way to change the default location to memory card? I go to Communication -> contacts -> Options -> Settings and the only option available is Phone & Contacts. Currently the default is phone. If i change to contacts, it asks for sign in. Kindly assist.
I need to know the location/folder of these files e.g. Contact folder, Bookmark, system setting, application etc. These files are the input files to the default N900's backup program (osso-backup). I plan to back up these files nightly.If not all possible, at least let me know the contact and bookmark folders. These folders are important to me for my nightly backup.

Access Point : Idea Internet.
Server address: None
Internet option is offline as I have downloaded the map. Do I need to to make it online to A-GPS work?
