Nokia N900 :: Unable To Receive Or Send New Messages?
Jan 16, 2010It says "Unable to receive or send new messages. Device storage full. Remove data to free memory."It has 21GB of space left.I've made 7 calls since I bought it 7 days ago. I've made 50 text messages. I have 780 songs and 10 videos and 200 pictures. It still has 21GB and says that I have enough storage for everything.I need this message to stop, It keeps popping up every minute. I takes a while to get messages and I've turned it on and off.. I've removed the battery and restarted it.

Jul 27, 20101. I got some serious problem here, I am using my home connection through wifi and my N900 is able to receive email from gmail but unable to send out. I checked the configuration through gmail website and it is correct for sure!
2. I tried to share photo using the share via facebook plugin or pixelpipe plugin, I get transfer error! I've no idea why. But I could use my wifi to validate facebook and pixelpipe account without any problem.
What I suspect is the outgoing connection issue. In fact I am using my laptop on the same wifi connection without any issue at all. What can I do on my N900 to fix this problem?I can use 3G to send out email and upload pictures to facebook but I can't do it via wifi!

Jan 15, 2010Got my new N900 2 days ago, I can not seem to send pictures via text / mms like i have always been able to. I take a picture & then look at the options at the bottom of the screen i see:
Rotate,
Crop,
Edit Tags,
Share,
Delete
I select Share & only get 3 options:
Send Via BlueTooth,
Send Via Email
Share Service
In none of these options can I find away to text a picture to someone. What Am i doing wrong??I have updaed my phone to latest firmware hoping this might help.. but no

May 19, 2010Nokia Email Messaging has been working ok for 3 months but has just stopped working, Have done all the normal stuff - soft reset , cancelled account and made a new account but I cant recieve or send any email at all. I have Gmail accounts , Yahoo and Ovi but none of them work.I have noticed when you go into settings for one of the accounts and look at the username and password for the Nokia Email Account , in the Password box it always shows `NONE` I have tried to put in my password several times but it always reverts to NONE. Is this correct? It seems it cant save the password ?
The only thing I havent tried is a hard reset but thats a last resort.
Nokia :: N85 - Can Receive Messages But Cannot Send
Jan 1, 2010Please help me sort out an issue I have with my, new N85 phone. I can receive text msgs but cannot send them. I have followed the guides that i have got from Nokia but the phone won't allow me to change the message centre number that I have been given. It says that i am unable to change it as the phone is reading from the sim card. I have put the sim into another nokia phone and it shows the right number. why won't it see it on the new phone and why won't it let me change it.
This is the wrong time of year not to be able to send texts, all my family and friends have stopped talking to me as they think I'm being rude!

When I receive a photo text from someone. the following message keeps saying "Uknown network error" and I cannot view it at all, I have tried to retrieve it, but wont do it. Also I cant send photos, which is rubbish. My phone lets me take photos and they get stored no problem. Please help as i am desperate to get this sorted. I only bought the phone last week. Anyone else had this problem. Also my internet on the phone does not appear to work either. Message came up "failed to connect to internet" but I do have plenty credit on my phone.

Once I change the "Memory in use" setting to phone memory rather than my 8GB microSD card I can send and receive messages.I tried to delete text messages from the memory card but nothing happened, they will not delete.

Anyways, I can make calls and receive calls, and have tested this out numerous times. However when I go to send or receive texts, it shows them as sent, but the other person does not get a text, and vice versa. I'm 100% sure that everyone is texting the correct number, and have tried turning the phone on and off.

Apr 15, 2012My iPhone 4S has been working on and off for as long as I've had it. There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens.When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.

Jun 18, 2012I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

If i do receive pictures or send them to other phones they are signifcantly reduced in size and appear as a small square on screen. I have attached a pic of my phone screen with a picture displayed that was sent to me after from my girlfriends N85.
I have been through the settings to the best of my knowledge and set the image size to large but this seems to have no effect.To do this i went to MESSAGING>OPTIONS>SETTINGS>MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE>IMAGE SIZE (set this to large)

May 30, 2010I am trying to use Nokia Messaging (v10.2.0.4) on a 5800 (v50.0.005). I set up an IMAP mailbox to sync. My subscription with the GSM operator includes the Nokia Messaging service.I can download messages if I tap send/receive, but automatic sync does not work.If I set the sync time to Push Mail, I can see a green ring on the screen. I assume it means there is a live connection. But messages do not arrive.If I set the sync time to 15 minutes, the ring becomes grey and crossed. Every 15 minutes it changes to green and rotates. I assume it means new messages are downloaded. But they are not.
Again, if I tap Send/receive, new messages arrive.I also tried to configure a Gmail mailbox. The situation is the same. Manual send/receive works, automatic sync does not.How could I get automatic sync to work?

Oct 22, 2010I have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected
Blackberry internet service:
Connection: Mobile network
