I'm unable to receive picture messages on my C7-00 smart phone. I can send pictures without problems but not receive. Is it possible to disable receiving pictures? If so how do I enable it?

When I receive a photo text from someone. the following message keeps saying "Uknown network error" and I cannot view it at all, I have tried to retrieve it, but wont do it. Also I cant send photos, which is rubbish. My phone lets me take photos and they get stored no problem.

I now cant get to send or receive picture messages and its doing my head right in.I have tried to follow a few websites to get this problems resolved but i dont know if i have helped or made the problem worse now i dont know how to resore the default settings so that i can try again.I had the same problem with accessing the internet also but i can now get onto the internet after using settings that i found online.

I've done the Settings>More>Internet Settings (Download settings for internet and MMS) thing, and my internet browsing is and always has been fine. If I turn Wi-Fi off and choose to browse via 2G, it's next to useless, but it DOES work. When I get into a 3/4G area it works as you'd expect without me changing any settings.In a 2G only area, a ~256K image should still be able to be received and sent, albeit with a slight wait, shouldn't it?
The message I get when people try to send me something is "Message not downloaded", and although I can press and hold to select "Download message", it still doesn't work. WHen I try to send, I get "Message queued for sending", after about 5 minutes. I've read about that message lots of times, but it seems the answer is always that the user hasn't downloaded the correct internet/MMS settings, which I have.I'm on O2, UK, and am on a contract with data available (and it won't deny me more data if I go over my limit).
I Tried to go to the apple support but nothing fixes it. My iMessage says waiting for activation..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using the 8530 for almost 2 years now. My phone fell in water and I had to get a new one. I had been on Verizon but recently switched to pageplus talk and text. I bought a new unlocked phone on ebay and there is no MMS text option on the new phone and I cannot send or receive pictures. My plan is the same one I had with the old phone and the MMS text worked on my old phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues sending and receiving pictures on my Lumia 1520 not to mention some other issues. Before updating to 8.1 it was working fine even on DP. I checked the apn settings & everything is correct. When I go to access point in settings it just closes on me. I'm using a unlocked ATT 1520 on T mobile. This is my 5th windows phone but I think it might be my last. The only reason I went with windows phone was because I loved Nokia. Now with all this Microsoft bs going on I might just sell my phone & my surface pro 2.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am not able to send Group messages from Nokia C7.I am sending messages to a distribution list having 70 members in it, only 20 messages are going fine and the remaining 50 stuck in the inbox saying Failed or Resend at XX:XX.Then i usually try to click on each message in the out box and send them again. [i dont know why there is no mark all option in outbox ] But from 3 days eventhough i am trying to send the 50messages again it is just saying Resend at XX:XX.
1) I tried sending the messaged from OVI suite but no luck
2) With help of vodafone customer care i verified all my message settings, message center number and everything are fine. (if they are wrong the first 20 should also stuck na..)
3) I thought it was a n/w problem i called to vodafone Customer care and they asked me try in another phone.
4) I have taken my old nokia 5310 Xpress music inserted the same sim and sent the 70 messages, they all went very fine.
Nokia Email Messaging has been working ok for 3 months but has just stopped working, Have done all the normal stuff - soft reset , cancelled account and made a new account but I cant recieve or send any email at all. I have Gmail accounts , Yahoo and Ovi but none of them work.I have noticed when you go into settings for one of the accounts and look at the username and password for the Nokia Email Account , in the Password box it always shows `NONE` I have tried to put in my password several times but it always reverts to NONE. Is this correct? It seems it cant save the password ?
The only thing I havent tried is a hard reset but thats a last resort.

I have followed the guides that i have got from Nokia but the phone won't allow me to change the message centre number that I have been given. It says that i am unable to change it as the phone is reading from the sim card. I have put the sim into another nokia phone and it shows the right number. why won't it see it on the new phone and why won't it let me change it.
This is the wrong time of year not to be able to send texts, all my family and friends have stopped talking to me as they think I'm being rude!
