I have a nokia C3, why I was never able to receive MMS? But it has correct MMS settings. There is always writing "MMS waiting to be retrieved". After I try to receive, always "retrieval failed".

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia N97 and am having a couple of problems with it.Software Version 20.0.0.019. (There is an update to v2.1, but when I check for updates it says that no updates are available, so to double check I typed my code into the "check if my device is compatible with upgrade etc..." and it says that the current compatible version is 20.0.0.019.
Are some N97's compatible with the update and others not?The most annoying problem I have at the moment is that even when a WLAN network is available, setup and tested as being able to be used for surfing the web or for applications, there are some applications (Ovi Store is one of them), that refuse to use the WLAN and instead wants to use the much more expensive internet provided by GPRS I think..
So I tried deleting the GPRS connection (in destinations/internet) in an effort to stop the software for selecting that connection and hopefully defaulting or allowing me to select my wireless network, which were all set with a higher priority than the GPRS connection, even before I deleted it.
Imagine my amusement when it still wanted to use the GPRS connection, and somehow managed to, even though the connection is no longer setup on my N97.Does anyone know if there is a setting I am overlooking or something I am missing?
HTC one S - all of a sudden I have no notification sounds. All the settings are correct and when I do trial run with sound I can hear it but when and actual call or text message comes in all I get is vibrate, I get no sound. What's up with that? I have turned off and on hoping to reset - no go.

It only works for default mail services, but if I want to setup other email accounts, I need some way to enter IMAP/POP servers, ports, etc. If I choose "Other" in mail client, I can only enter mail address and password. Then I see message that connection can not be established. I expect to have an ability to enter all mail setting myself, but can't find any way to do it. It is really desappointing.

Then after restoring the theme become gray and other features gone, and the worse thing that I cant use the internet although I have wifi connection. The goto address and other menu in the internet gone, the only remaining is home, browser and web services.
When I click home it says check home page address, when I click browser, it doesn't work
also the web services. The community, ovi store, and other features gone, all tones gone, all themes, all games gone, nothing left.
I have been using this phone on the WiFi now for over 6 months - just now unable to connect to the WiFi have fiddled a bit and probably changed the settings now not at all sure what settings it should be on. Can anyone advise the correct settings etc.

why does my C3 -01 keep changing some settings by itself? I have it set to always ask before connecting to the internet because I dont want to run up huge bills but I often fint it has reverted to connect when required !
