Aug 18, 2010When i connect (PC Suite) my wife's 6700 slide on my PC USB, the battery is recharging.when i connect my X6 on my PC, the battery don' t recharging.Is it normal?

Jan 26, 2012I used to be an employee at RIM until June of last year and at the end of July I purchased myself the white torch 9800.I have had nothing but problems with it regarding the battery life and the USB cable that came with it. My battery lasts 1 day if I am lucky and my USB cable does not always get recognized.I have been in contact with Rogers, had my phone in for repair, and reloaded my operating system with no luck. Tired to contact RIM support but got nowhere and Rogers is giving me the run around.All I need is a new battery and honestly I can't afford one nor do I feel I need to purchase one since the battery has been **bleep** since the beginning pretty much.

My phone was fully charged sitting in the charger all night as per norm, but when I woke up I hade a frozen white screen so I pulled the battery for over 2 min's then put it back in the red LED was constant for 15-20 seconds then off. I have tried charging it and tried putting on a new OS but as soon as I plug any USB in the phone the LED will go off and will not be recognised by my laptop nor will I get any charging LED.

Feb 4, 2010I recently got my Nokia E72, and am trying out the USB Data Cable Charging "feature" - it just does not work for me. I wonder if am doing something wrong? The process of inserting the Data Cable is quite straight forward, the phone presents a menu of options "PC Suite..." which I promptly cancel. I then get a message "Charging", and about 15 seconds later I get a message about disconnecting the charger?
The battery/ phone are now in power save mode ie battery almost completely drained - right. So, why will it not charge through the data cable - it refuses. I have searched on the interweb, but seen to be the only one with this problem. The Nokia E72 manual mentions that charing is possible through the use of the Data Cable. I am directly connected to the computer (MacBook Pro 2009 Model). Mac OSX correctly detects the Nokia E72. Do I have to be in Windows XP?
