my iphone 3g battery died. When I recharged it the large icon with a lightning bolt under it showed up and it booted after a while. After that the charge does not go higher than 2% and it turns off after barely a minute of usage and there is no charging sign on the battery icon. The chrome strip on the border also becomes live while connected.

title says it all my 3gs is not damaged that i can tell ive had it for 2 years it just now started to do it. im updated to ios 5.1 and i keep getting the plug icon instead of the lightning bolt if i unplug it and plug it in the computer several times it finally charges but it takes 30 minutes or so every time to get it to start charging.

I just bought a brand new Blackberry 8350i today and I don't think it's charging. The lightning bolt shows up on the battery indicator but then the bolt is gone after 5 seconds. Is it still charging? The user manual doesn't explain it much.

If I open "My Files" in the Applications folder, the photos are present (but not visible) as jpeg files. When I open the SD card in my PC each jpeg is present as a 2GB file (approx.), but again, can't be opened. How do I get to se my holiday snaps?

They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.

Dosent go away until I reboot the phone, any ideas? When it is fully charged the green led even stays lit. Dosent do it all the time just enough to be annoying. I really dont want to trade my phone for a reconditioned one since it is only three weeks old.

I just upgraded from iPhone 3 to iPhone 4S. The salesman tried to sell me something called Zero Charger. I come home late and often just go to sleep. He told me if I declined the Zero Charger, I have to set the alarm for 1:00 A.M. to disconnect my iPhone from the wall, or the battery will be ruined in a few months. Is this correct? An iPhone user who comes home late cannot recharge his phone and go to sleep? I never heard that one. Also, are there any PC programs that cause a PC to work like Zero Charger? Meaning, when you connect your iPhone, they detect it, monitor the recharge, and shut off the juice when it is recharged?

It is not a "Smartphone" for internet-surfing, but just a simple phone for voice usage.Last night I was looking thru Menu & must have clicked something I shouldn't have, because afterward I noticed a capital "G" in upper left corner of screen & only 1 bar below it.It also had full bars on the right (full battery).Never saw that "G" before & could not figure out how to make it go away. Too tired to mess with it so I went to bed.10 hours later I check phone & it is totally black, will not come on, will not do anything, pressing any/all buttons does nothing, totally black screen.So I plugged it in anyway, hoping that will fix it.
