I got the iPhone 5s and need the adapter for playing music in my car.But it will only charge the phone, can't use it to play music.Â
I have tried the phone in other devices and same result. I can play music with my ipad Air, and iv'e tried other iphone 5 and 5s's that do work in my car. it's just my phone not working! The Adapter is legit from Apple. Â

my iphone 3g battery died. When I recharged it the large icon with a lightning bolt under it showed up and it booted after a while. After that the charge does not go higher than 2% and it turns off after barely a minute of usage and there is no charging sign on the battery icon. The chrome strip on the border also becomes live while connected.

I just bought a brand new Blackberry 8350i today and I don't think it's charging. The lightning bolt shows up on the battery indicator but then the bolt is gone after 5 seconds. Is it still charging? The user manual doesn't explain it much.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWeird glitch I noticed in the first 2-3 days post ICS. Everything seems to be normal with the phone, except for the fact that when I plug it into a charger, this will automatically trigger the device to start playing the same song. The song plays all the way through once and then ends, after which everything is normal again. While the song is playing, I can't determine which program is responsible for playing the music so that I can stop it. There is no app or icon that pops up to indicate that music is being played, it's just as if the music is being conjured out of thin air. If I try playing a track on either Google Music or My Music during this time, the second track will start playing at the same time as the first, almost as if the software doesn't recognize that another song is already playing.
Again, this only occurs when I plug the phone into a charger. Happens consistently whether it's a wall charger, usb or car charger. I've been searcing like crazy through Settings and Smart Actions to see what's causing it, but have come up empty so far. Tried rebooting a few times (both hard and soft reset), clearing out the cache....everything except a factory reset which I'd prefer to avoid if at all possible. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've been scrolling through various message boards but haven't seen any examples of this yet.
I bought an iphone 4s about a month ago. I noticed sometimes when the phone was plugged to the wall charger it did not display as if it was charging. Last week it started never charging unless it was plugged to the computer. I tried another iphone/ipad chargers with no luck, all of those devices did charge with my charger.

Guys i've recently switched from a Bold 9000 to the 9700 and as you know, the 9700 comes with Micro USB port so all the mini USB accessories i have don't fit anymore.i came across MANY mini-USB to micro-USB adapters, but most if not all of them state "charging adapter" also saw many threads here about people complaining how their adapter charges but doesn't sync has anyone found a mini-USB to micro-USB adapter that charges AND syncs? don't understand the limitation since both have 5 pins, i would assume a straight forward adapter should exist somewhere

When I go to the music player and select a song to play, I get a message that tells me to plug in my headphones. The issue is that my headphones are plugged in. I didn't have this issue a week ago. I was listening to my music just fine. I have rebooted the device several times already. The weird thing is that I can hear the boot up sounds through my headphones, as well as notifications. View 3 Replies View RelatedI started facing something weird today with the Music.app on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1. The music from the Music.app stops playing as soon as I leave the app. This happens if I try to switch to another app, or press the home button or even lock the screen with the app in the foreground. It automatically starts playing as soon as I reopen the app. When the screen is locked, double tapping the home button brings up the iPod controls. But the play button there doesnt respond and the same thing happens with the play button from the multitasking tray too. It's as though the Music App can no longer play in the background.

Songs start playing spontaneously ever since I did an update to my iphone 4 and have the "music" icon instead of the "ipod" icon on the phone. I stop the music and make sure the music app isn't even open but the songs just start up by the themselves anyway.
