Jun 24, 2010OVI suite can't update the support softare on my N97... it's says "unable to install support software". Any solutions? On the PC I already unistall all Nokia software, used PCSuite Cleaner and cleaned the registry and then reinstall OVI Suite.I don't wont to hard reset the phone, format drive E and reinstall all the software.

But when I try to do this, I get the msg "installer already in use" on my mobile. What should I do? And I also have another problem. I downloaded the application "Folder Hider" from Ovi, and it was installed in a folder "Mig Apps". I want to remove it, but it won't allow me. Why is that?

On my LG Optimus 7 I find text in the browser to be really spidery in comparison, and I assume that this is because of the lower screen res. But now when I use the 64-bit version the application installs all the drivers and even loads. However, when I connect my Satio via USB, it gives driver error (unrecognized). It seems SE didn't provide support for the 64-bit version OS.

There is no workaround for this and it is a mayor limitation of the PGP Support for BlackBerry package. It is holding back the package from being rolled out to a larger market audience, and limiting existing users tremendously.

Feb 11, 2010I dropped the bold and at&terrible and have taken my business to verizon and am the proud owner of a tour last night trying to install 5.0 I seem to have run into an issue using swiss army knife AND DM it wont load past the Loading RAM phase ive done bat pulls re wiped the phone, removed and reinstalled software finally I just said it and went back to verizon 4.7 and I STILL can not get past the loading RAM image.I am running windows xp through VMware on a macbook. I did read somewhere that running windows this way you can NOT update OS's past 5.0 but why would I still be having the same issues trying to install 4.7 anyone care to chime in because for now my phone isnt touring at all.

Dec 1, 2011I just purchased a factory unlocked Samsung Focus from Amazon. I will be using it on Simple Mobile, but I haven't purchased the SIM card or service yet (I will when my Virgin Mobile month is up). I've played around with the phone though, hoping to use it on the WiFi network at my college. I heard that the Mango update may allow me to access hidden SSID networks--is this true? Anyways, I was syncing the phone with the Zune software, adding music and such, and tried to update the phone because it said an update was available (not the Mango update...but I was going to try to force the Mango update after updating to the version it wanted me to--7.07 I think?). Every time I try to update it, it takes forever saying "installing" then it says it failed, with the error code C0000005. Is the update failing because I don't have a SIM card in the phone? .
Update: just tried again...this time it got through installing and restoring/restarting the phone, then it said the update failed.
