Unfortunately,all my messages and message settings are gone after i composed an sms,the phone froze and I turned it off. Strangely,all backups done with nokias file utility have disappeared,too. Any ideas? Memory card or nokia (symbiab) issue?

I have a bb torch, need to recover deleted text and mms from about a month or 2 ago, since those messages were deleted, there has been a lot of text message activity and deletion.The corporation i work for has sent the device off to 'forensics' (not sure who to)What is the likelyhood of these texts being recovered?off the device or the sim card.I do not have a backup file.I dont think i had the 'save to sim' option checked.

I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
version 10.60.
I Just wanted to find out if there is any way you can view messages after you end chat or clear messages on BBM?And no they were not backed up to PC or Blackberry protect. Is chat history not stored temporary on a DB file on the phone somewhere and call it up like the event log by holding down alt and type lglg ?

So the phone was master reseted before any of my pictures or videos were backed up. Usually I would be able to take a recovery program on windows like recuva to get the files back but my problem was, was that the mass storage was encrypted. When I get a new email or SMS/MMS text messages it says I have the number plus 1, but I can't find the message or get rid of the icon. I have looked in all the Instant messaging folders and still can't find the message.

So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..

I synched my wife's iPhone 4S with her MacBook for the first time today, and inadvertantly wiped her contacts by selecting some of the advanced settings and replacing the contacts on the phone with the the 0 contacts she has saved on her laptop.

When I try to forward a text message to more than 10 people by using the contacts menu to select the recipients, the message changes from text message to multimedia message.
Since, I do not have a subscription for multimedia messages with my service provider, the message remains in the outbox and never gets sent.
Can someone advice why the text message converts to multimedia message? How to prevent this from happening everytime I send/forward text message to more than 10 people from the contacts list?
Where do I find the settings to change the sounds of my SMS messages?
