Nokia :: Recovering Messages Or Message Settings?
Jun 26, 2010Unfortunately,all my messages and message settings are gone after i composed an sms,the phone froze and I turned it off. Strangely,all backups done with nokias file utility have disappeared,too. Any ideas? Memory card or nokia (symbiab) issue?

BB Torch 9800 Smartphone :: Text Message Notifies Staying As Unread Text Message?
Aug 18, 2010The bar on the top of the screen between the "select a profile" and the "search magnifying glass" where the notifications pop up not sure what that page is called but in this slide down screen under Text Messages I have a text message that is staying at unread. Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Does anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to refresh and get ride of it? I've tried turning the device on and off a few times but doesn't fix the issue.

Note: The photos I took were saved to the phone itself, I was not using a memory stick. When I connect my phone to my computer as mass storage, no files are in it.

Sep 2, 2011I have a bb torch, need to recover deleted text and mms from about a month or 2 ago, since those messages were deleted, there has been a lot of text message activity and deletion.The corporation i work for has sent the device off to 'forensics' (not sure who to)What is the likelyhood of these texts being recovered?off the device or the sim card.I do not have a backup file.I dont think i had the 'save to sim' option checked.

In the BBM settings I have 4 pages of symbols, which include smileys, but in the text message menu I only have 2 pages of symbols, which do NOT include the smiley faces. When I receive a text from people who add smileys, all I get is the symbols such as it works fine in the BBM service, both sending and receiving, but not in text.do I need to download an app or something. Im a bit new with using a BB so any help in plain english would be good! and also while im on it, the places app on facebook does not seem to work for me, the GPS, ect is all switched on!

What I want it to do is show the SMS Inbox (which I can navigate to via the folder options, but I can't find a way to set it as a default).
