I have downloaded the software to connect the C6-01 to a mac off the nokia site and cannot get this to work. Software says the phone is not compatible, despite the product being listed by nokia as being a compatible device.

Upgraded the E72 and got smart connect.I added 2 WLAN access points within the smart connect config and selected the access point "Wifi" (smart connect name) in de browser.However, the web browser keeps looking for a connection, without results.

It's either the phone, the ovi software.I have the following: Nokia e72 < acts as modem via cable or bluetooth > laptop..When it acts over modem via either cable or bluetooth, I can only access certain sites eg.I can't access google, or msn messenger for instance
I can access wikipedia, and my ISPs website as an example.Originally I thought it was because it was only able to access australian servers, but this isn't the case. My browser just seems unable to get a connection to certain sites/servers ever - it times out when i try to view google - but only when my phone is the link to the internet.On the phone, I can access every site/server that I want. But not on my laptop via the phone. When I'm on another internet connection (home or work etc), I have no issues connecting to those sites/servers from my laptop.Browsing google over other connections has not helped me find a solution yet. The connection to the net is stable - it doesn't drop out and can remain connected indefinitely.I'm running:
Laptop version: windows7, with ovi 2.2.0.241
Phone version: 031.023
The results have been the same on earlier versions of the phone and ovi software. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've bought a N97 mini and I'm very happy with it.However in the past week until now, I can't connect to the internet unless i connect via wireless lan.With GPRS i can't.I open the browser, it shows me on the top left corner the phone is trying to make a connection and then hangs up after 3seconds.
1 - I've check the definitions with my service provider
2 - I have tha latest firmware
3 - I have made a hard reset..
My mother in law gave my son her iphone 4s, however she left the password on it. My son tried entering random number (instead of asking what the code was), and now the iphone is locked with message "iphone is disabled connect to itunes". I've tried resetting and restarting the phone with no luck. It was never connected to itunes before, she didn't use icloud, and she never had it set to find her iphone so those options are out. I've tried putting it in recovery mode whole connected to itunes, downloaded the updates, and all looks great, until i get a message that it can not finish as iphone is passlocked. I'm stuck in a never-ending loop.

I´m connected wifi in my black berry because I'm out the reach of my service provider.I only can navigate on the internet, but can use the bbm or the email.In the pass I was able to use them with the wifi connection, some one told me that I m not connected to the bb services.I try everything, change settings, initiated it, and no results.

everything has been fine until today. I tried to upload and send a photo from an app, but while attaching to a mail i decided to cancel it. Since then for some reason now my iphone is unable to update the mail app with my google mail. I tried deleting the account, restartng the phone, and entering all my details in again. but everytime i get the same error about cannot contact imap server or something.

Software upgrade fixed many problems I was having with the Admiral. One thing seemed to change, though. Whenever I call a contact via Direct Connect, a menu will come up and ask "Remember this choice". If you check off the menu and then press the Direct Connect number that you wish to be associated with that contact, it doesn't remember the number that you selected. The next time you pull up that same contact to DC, you get the same menu, asking "Remember this choice".

I can pair and connect my wife's Samsung Galaxy phone and use the Mercedes hands free system to make and receive phone calls. However my Defy pairs Ok but does not connect continuously. It will occasionally connect when I force it but it only stays connected for a few seconds. The Defy is running 2.2OS. The MB2 supplier in Australia and manufacturer in Taiwan both state that the MB2 has been previously tested with a Defy and works OK.

I've been using K9 to connect to my IMAP email account and everything was working fine for the past month. Woke up yesterday and noticed it was no longer downloading new email and would just time out trying to connect. Tried removing and reinstalling the account - no luck, can't connect with the usual settings. Also tried creating the account with the default Android email and MailDroid and they also won't work. My provider swears that everything is working on their end and that I'm using the right settings.

I found that it consume quite a lot battery when I enable auto update, usually I need to recharge my phone every 2 days. Therefore, I turned off all automatic update includes sync of email. The problem is that my phone still keeps on asking me 'Select Connection' if I want to connect using Wifi, WAP or Internet. First of all, I do not know which app requires the connection. This is definitely a UI improvement! How can I know which app requires the connection! I know there's a similar post here /t5/Eseries-Devices-and/E72-Keeps-on-asking-me-how-to-connect-WAP-or-Internet/td-p/637574 but I think the problem is different.
