i have a problem.it's like this. i connect to the internet "Wi-Fi" .i can't browse, i don't know why.when i hit the facebook or any kind of bookmarks it goes in and then out after a second.in short, i cannot browse in any site.it's been three days.i restore the original factory settings and still i cannot browse.

I then spotted an issue where I wasn't able to browse the internet (or any other internet application for that matter) without disconnecting the WiFi connection every time I want to load a new website or load a new page in the Ovi Store. The Router I am using is only running 54 Mbps, and I'm now using it with the password disabled, just to try if that changed anything, it didn't. I havn't been able to try using a 3G connection yet, as my service provider has somehow failed at supplying me with it at the moment.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI use a Nokia N900. I have successfully connected the phone to my email provider using IMAP4/SSL. I can view incoming email notifications, and send new messages. I can also browse the content of all folders, except for the "inbox" folder.The way my provider (Rackspace.com) sets up the email account, all folders reside under the "inbox" folder. It appears that the N900's email application does not recognize the "inbox" folder as location which contains both sub folders and messages; when I try to open the "inbox" and list messages, the application briefly shows the busy indicator, but then nothing happens (it does not show the folder content). I can successfully view the content of any other folder (which does not have sub folders), it's just the "inbox" which is giving me problems.Is there a solution to this problem?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a 9700 bold, I have the blackberry personal bundle (unlimited web and text). I attempted to set it up on my home network via WiFi. After changing my network to WEP (because for some odd reason WAP wasn't supported?) I tried doing the PIN thing didn't work, and the push key on my router, ended up just changing to WEP and entering the huge code.
It's all connected and everything shows little WiFi thing on the desktop (not main menu) right when I click the browser it opens up my home page still showing WiFi, go to another website, boom goes to edge?! loads slow, my network should be faster than 3g easily. Why can't it use my WiFi to browse the web at home? I get poor reception and I have no idea why it would use EDGE instead. Also I tried to download application world off of RIM's website, along with the AIM client both gave me 404 errors saying the file wasn't available.
Since i have upgraded to ios 5.1.1 on my iphone 4s, I'm having wifi issues. I'm connected to wifi but unable to browse the web, it says no connection, though my laptop uses the same connection and gives no such problem.

This weekend the browser stopped working and I'm unable to open links on e-mails that have been sent to me etc. when I click on a link it just doesn't do anything. Similarly, the "homepage" on my browser seems to be missing. I just have a blank white page with a seach box in blue at the top. However, when I type a seach in and return it doesn't do anything. The blue "loading" line running across the bottom of the search box seems to be permanently there, at it's fullest. It's almost as if it's frozen. I've successfully been able to connect my phone to my wi-fi service, but this doesn't seem to make any difference. I've done the "turn the phone off and back on again" trick.

So far my blackberry is working perfectly fine despite one major thing, the browser. It shows that I am connected to my home network, though when I try to load a page it shows the error message, "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later." I talked with our BES Express adminstrator who believe they are not able to control / limit the browser usage through the BES admin.
