May 22, 2012My BB was synching fine with my desktop and mysteriously stopped. Now after it asks for the password (to my BB) it just sits and spins. The BB shows the computer and BB icons and nothing happens. When I try to exit the program the 'Exiting Blackberry Desktop Software box pops up and it just spins ( when i say spin i refer to the little green circle icon).

Aug 23, 2010Sync with Outlook calendar/tasks (regardless whether using USB or BT) fails with error code 8004fd22 in Ovi Suite. N900 says nothing.Backups and contacts sync with Ovi Suite works ok.Sync used to work earlier. The only thing I've done is that I've installed the Hildon patch, that fixes the "jumping" phone answer UI (from maemo.org). Should have nothing to do with sync, but who knows.Ovi Suite is of last available version on Win7/32bit and N900 has PR 1.2.

I disconnected usb cable and tried to turn on the set but it wont turn on. I tried to recharge it and restart it but it also didnt work. Now its still off and I don`t know what to do anymore.

Jun 18, 2010I used the Ovi suite to install the free maps on my E72 which work great but the software itself is very poorly written, too many bugs and problems so i would like to uninstall it and use the PC suite instead. can I now update my phone using the PC suite with it's updater software or do I have to now rely on the Ovi suite.
The reason I ask instead of having two pieces of software is i want to a Vista/XP (two machines) clean install followed by a Ghost DVD so the smaller image the better (plus i dont like to have **bleep** installed on my machine:-)

I have a Nokia E71, and i was using Nokia PC Suite to sync it with my outlook 2007 it all worked fine, contacts, to do notes and calendar (i wasn't syncing mail cuase i use gmail), untill the new ovi suite came out and i decided to try it since It sounded better.turns out It really sucked this ovi suite!! one of the worst softwares I've ever used, it duplicated all of the appointments that had color categories in outlook 2007, it is dead slow to sync!!!(i mean reeeaaly slow), even tough the Suite integrates more stuff in to one place it has reduced funcionality to sync stuff with my phone, it offers less funtions, not to mention that the user interface sukcs (its poorly desingned, it takes long to accses stuff, it shows me stuff as if it was advertisement).PC suite was very simple but funcional, oviously i went back to pc suite, to my surprise i couldn't sync, pc suite & the phone would do as if they were syncing, but when i checked at the end it wouldn't sync stuff.

Aug 16, 2010I got this phone 3 months ago, and it paired with PC Suite perfectly, till few days ago, when i lost connection with it, and now PC Suite and OVI Suite can't find my phone. I checked bluetooth device that im using, and made sure that phone bluetooth is on. In Attachment is shown how PC Suite and Bluetooth react when i try to reconnect the phone.

Apr 15, 2010Have a N900. Got the phone to work against Smart Suite and later Ovis Suite very well for the first 3 weeks. Then the trouble started. I used it both with USB cable and BTooth. First my synchronization with Lotus Notes calendar stopped (have to go by the PC), then contacts and messages. And today it does not even recognize the phone as a compatible phone. In the whole period I have been installing all kind of applications. My suspicion is that the trouble is due to an installation of a particular application - my question is:Anyone that got an idea what might have caused this?? Hope for help without re-intsalling the machine.

Jul 5, 2010I'm probably the author of my own misfortune here, but I loaded a GPX file with about 4000 waypoints onto my 5230 a few days ago. I got fed up after a while as it made ovimaps run like a complete dog, so I used the "location" app to select all and delete. However, it seems in the meanwhile that it had synchronized all of the landmarks to my ovi.com account. After I did this I noticed I was getting "Download error" every time I opened ovimaps, and I realized that it must be having some problems with synchronizing the phone with ovi.com (its set to do this on startup and closedown).
I viewed the maps there today and could see them, and then spent about 30 minutes deleting each of them manually. Online there are now no landmarks, and there are none on my phone either. However, I cannot now seem to sync ovi.com with my phone (using the menu option under "favorites" in ovimaps 3.04 on the phone).Message I get is "Synchronization incomplete” Is there any way to re-initialize the synchronization? I've tried removing the account from the phone but that didn't seem to work.

Aug 23, 2011Yesterday I wanted to update my Nokia E63, I saw there was 2 ways of Updating, 1. Over The Air, but there was no clear definition on how to do that, So I want to the other option, Nokia Ovi PC Suite. The download kept failing but it kept resuming when I tried to download the update again. After the download finished Usually you do not need the internet to install something that you already downloaded (Should Always Be Like That!!) So I thought that and while the update was installing Nokia Ovi PC Suite said something about Cannot Connect To Service, Although My Internet was PERFECT! and I tried to turn on my E63 and it would just vibrate and then turn off. I tried reviving it by leaving the battery out for 5 mins ( I also left it out for 6 hours) And when you turn it on Hold the Green Button Call And the 3 and the *. But none of that works, I wanted to send my phone to Nokia Care through Post But you need the IMEI but How can I do that?

Feb 2, 2012I used the Nokia (N95_1) four years ago as a phone, so I cannot remember where I stored the itty bitty Rogers SIM card or if I threw it away. Now I have this problem with the Nokia Suite not upgrading firmware without the sim card.I use nokia now mostly as a GPS and a Wi-fi net browsing device, so I would like to get the new map version since the current one (v3.01 09wk44 b01) keeps crashing when synchronizing favs. I downloaded the .sis file from softpedia (v3.03 10wk11 b04) but get certificate errors when trying to install it. Does anybody know where can I get a signed map, latest version for nokia n95, with a fix for the sync crash? (It does get sync'ed but closes every time)
