Jan 26, 2010When I got my 5800 I was incredibly unimpressed with pretty much every aspect of it. Utter rubbish.I went online and checked out Nokia's Ovi store and there were about 3 apps there, none of which any good.
Thought I'd use Ovi again today. I couldn't remember what password I used so I went through the password retrival service on my phone. To do this you need to type in some letters displayed onscreen. Only the image doesn't work. On Nokia's phone, running Nokia's app, Nokia's password retrieval is impossible. This typifies everything about Nokia - unwieldy and clunky solutions that fail at every step. Nothing is straightforward or simple to use.
Finally logged on (after going on my PC). Logged on via my phone, went to download an App and "Cannot download due to an error".

Apr 26, 2012I own a Nokia N8 (Symbian Belle) and have Nokia Suite 3.3.89 installed on my PC.I tried to download some apps from store.ovi.com but to no avail.The download buttons are greyed out and when I press the info button it tells me "To install this app with your PC, connect your phone via USB cable or Bluetooth and make sure Nokia Suite is running." My phone is connected with USB cable and Nokia Suite is running, but I still can't download.

Nov 29, 2011The latest Nokia Maps update refuses to install either via Nokia Suite or OTA (version 3.8.105) but simply says that something went wrong/isntall failed and doesn't even report an error code. I installed another update for the phone 1 week or so ago and Maps wouldn't connect to a GPS-satellite and thus was unable to navigate but this seems to have corrected itself with the reset. I've tried soft resetting and returning the phone to factory settings but the update still refuses to download and install.

Nov 25, 2011Im getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.

However, once I click "download" and it asks for the username and password, it always has the error "Network Error - Please Try Again". I keep trying a few times, and the connection is timed out.I have this cool phone but I can't play any games on it!
