I own a Nokia N8 (Symbian Belle) and have Nokia Suite 3.3.89 installed on my PC.I tried to download some apps from store.ovi.com but to no avail. The download buttons are greyed out and when I press the info button it tells me "To install this app with your PC, connect your phone via USB cable or Bluetooth and make sure Nokia Suite is running." My phone is connected with USB cable and Nokia Suite is running, but I still can't download.
Anyone know how where I can download a copy of Nokia Drop for my N8 Belle please?beta labs have scrapped the project and I lost the app when I had to hard reset my phone.
I have purchased a ChessGenius App for my Nokia N8 running Belle in the OVI store on Tuesday 2 October 2012, and received confirmation of the purchase with transaction ID 297139150973. The money has been deducted from my phone account, but I have not been offered the option to download the app, neither does the app appear in 'MyStuff'.
i have Purchased N8 last year Dec 2010, I was able to download music from ovi store Till last month ,Suddenly, Why i am trying to download Music, It says yours is not a registerd mobile, (or) get a unlimited addition Mobile for Download. Some Apps require a one time download which always seems to be 252.50kb. However when I am prompted to allow the one time download it proceeds with the installation, the phone completes the download then switches to "Installing" and finally the installation fails. Anyone know how I can get this download via an alternative method? and exactly what it is?Not sure what info would be helpful so I have listed everything I am aware of.Also the phone refuses to upgrade to Symbian Belle as this just fails each time but that is for another time.Phone info.ReleaseSymbian AnnaSoftware Version022.014Software version date2011-07-05Custom Version022.014.210.09Language set022.014.01.01Product Code059C0T6ModelN8-00TypeRM-596Browser version7.3Flash Version4.0Java version2.2
my phone was working well downloading videos last last month but now, when I click on the download link of the video, nothing pops up, and when I click watch button, it doesn't play.
I am trying to download Skype on my Nokia N86 and its not working! I had Skype on my phone before, but had to hard reset my phone, so now I am trying to download it with no success (despite me being able to download other applications with no problem).
After I sent my N8 to support and they reset my phone, I accessed my store account and I noticed that some of my app's like angry birds, NFS, fruit ninja, etc. wasn't associated with my account anymore. Now I can't install them, and i'll have to buy it again. I must confess that I'm really disapointed with many problems i've been having with nokia lately.
how to change the default Download folder location on my Nokia 701 running Symbian Belle FP1. As soon as I popped in my memory card the download location for the web browser changed from mass memory to the memory card. The problem is my memory card is almost full.how do I get the default download location back to mass memory?
The latest Nokia Maps update refuses to install either via Nokia Suite or OTA (version 3.8.105) but simply says that something went wrong/isntall failed and doesn't even report an error code. I installed another update for the phone 1 week or so ago and Maps wouldn't connect to a GPS-satellite and thus was unable to navigate but this seems to have corrected itself with the reset. I've tried soft resetting and returning the phone to factory settings but the update still refuses to download and install.
I bought my n8 from Rogers wireless and had to wait three month longer than anyone else before I got Anna, now I m waiting for belle update and its available to anyone else other than product # 059D391, and I m sure there are many of us with this product and same problem..
I expose my problem, since I update my software, when i use apps like Web, e-mail or Maps, It always shuting off after connexion, i try to reset my phone, update back my software but he still wont open.
i've heard about a software called Alien dalvik, that emulates android apps so that they can be run on other devices. Can the nokia belle 701 do this as well?
BTW - does anyone know when the FB1 will be available for Nokia 701 bought in Israel from Eurocom, the company that represents Nokia in Israel? (meaning it isnt bought from carrier so there is no attachment to carriers ) Or even when globally?
My problem started when I tried to make my N8 a bootable pendrive. I needed to make my E: (phone memory) NTFS. I copied everything, formated E: into NTFS and copied all my stuff back again. Thing is that N8 doesn't support NTFS. My apps that were placed on E: stoped working. So I quitted my bootable pendrive idea. I formated E: again using N8 itself, copied stuff back again. I even restored last working phone backup. Aaand my apps still don't work.
