Sep 10, 2012I am unable to open my nokia 701 ovi music app, it just take 1 or 2 second and circle take a round and back to menu.

Nokia Music :: Unable To Open Music Files?
Dec 15, 2010I recently updated my music player software (for the Nokia 5800). However, when I tried clicking on my music player icon/ going to my gallery and selecting the file "songs" I couldn't open either of them. My songs are still on my phone, but I can't access them for some reason, or open them up. Why is this happening and how can I fix this problem?

Aug 5, 2012I have a 5800 and recently wanted to play a song. When I started the player, I got an error - something to do with the music library being corrupted. I left it to try and sort the problem for a while and then pressed STOP. When I tried later, the library was empty.I have upgraded the Music player but that also did not help. I removed the memory card where the MUSIC diretory is located and re-installed it. I have also re-booted the phone several times.From my PC I can see the directroy with all my music. All attempts to REFRESH the library on the phone fail with a message saying that 0 songs have been added. I have left it for long periods of time but still have no songs.If I locate a song with the file manager I can play it.Is there some way to delete/reset the library database and force it to re-create it?

May 10, 2010In the 'application management' menu on my N97 Mini, I'm unable to open the list of installed apps. The system just returns to the 'application management' page. I've looked around a bit on the internet, and found out that it may be due to the number of installed apps on the phone being too large. I do admit, I'm not really restricting myself with regard to that, but I also think I should not have to be. And of course, there are workarounds, but for some functions, like changing the settings of some applications, the list of installed apps is necessary.Questions:1. Can the problem be resolved? After all, I didn't pump the thing full of Micro-SD memory for nothing.
