Cannot open Nokia OVI store in nokia 500. Its shows connection available but I have packet data but ovi store only tries to connect thru wifi. Which doesn't opens it unless connected to wifi.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi bought my Nokia C7 a few weeks ago and , suddenly , liek a week ago , the OVI Store stopped working ... I haven´t done any hard resets , nothing of that . I only installed games and apps , and the Qt . When i try to run OVI Store , it shows the " OVI Nokia " screen for like 10 seconds , and return to the phone´s main menu .... i tried uninstalling it from the app manager , but it does nothing when i choose " unisntall " , tried to download the newest ovi store from their page , but the isntallation reaches 100% and returns " installation failed " .

I have had 3 Nokias now over the last 5 years all on contract but when my current one runs out in October that's me finished with Nokia! I have had continual problems with Nokia Suite ever since they replaced PC Suite a few years ago in addition to all the problems I've had with the phone (most of whicvh have resulted from various software upgrades) !!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just recently got the Nokia E-72 and after getting a new memory card just yesterday for it I am no longer able to open the Ovi Store application that was already installed on the phone. I also just installed the Ovi Suite on my computer and when it requests to install the "Support software" my phone just gives me the simple error of "Unable to install" with a red symbol next to the words. I also tried installing the Ovi Store from the web and I get the same Unable to Install error that I get when trying to install the Support Software. I already checked the "application manager" it is allows all applications to be installed. I've also tried reinstalling the software via the Ovi Suite and that doesn't do anything either. I looked up how to hard reset the phone as well, and I hold the correct buttons+the top power button at the same time while the phone is of f but it doesn't seem like it does anything when the phone comes back on.
I wouldn't mind getting the phone to go back to square one as I haven't had the phone long enough to miss much besides my contacts which I can just synchronize. So if someone could tell me a solution or tell me how to bring my phone back to factory settings I would greatly appreciate it. I have tried restoring to factory settings and the Ovi Store will still not open from my phone, it acts like it wants to (briefly flashes as if its opening) and will just go back to the menu screen. Even after restoring to factory settings I still cannot install the "support software". The phone merely says "Unable to install" and leaves it at that.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy mass memory is showing that it is in use even when it is not connected to any device or gadget, It all happened when I formatted my Mass Memory via PC in mass storage mode !!Format was successful but when I ejected 701 from PC the Default file manager was still showing that the mass memory is in Use. I tried everything from updating my software via Nokia Suite to re-booting my device a multiple times and also removed the battery many times and also I Hard Reset my device many times but to No avail .

As the the title states, when I press buy button in Ovi store it shows "Server error, we are experiencing problems with the payment service. You will be taken back to the catalog page." It occurs to all apps not specific app. The price shows correctly in local currency. I still didn't enter any card number. I've contacted Nokia call center which they received the issue with no response and solution for more than 1 week.
