I've recently updated my firmware version to 05.15, and upon starting Maps (sorry I don't know which version I have currently), I get an error saying "Cannot open application. Get latest version from nokia.com/maps". I've downloaded the appropriate file (selected using the tool on the website), but I cannot install version 3.01 as my phone will not install a .sis file. Is there a .sisx version of Maps which I'm obviously not seeing somewhere? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Opera's website doesn't show a version for the 9700 so I was going to download the version for the 9000. The only problem is the 9000 version doesn't have the 5.0 firmware option available. One of my colleagues who also has a E90 has firmware version 400.34.93.
I've attempted over 10 times to update my e71's firmware from version 200.x.x to 400.x.x and everytime the phone restarts about a minute into the update and NSU instructs me to re-establish the connection by removing the battery etc. The phone reboots by itself even if I do not remove the battery. upon clicking 'retry' the update fails again a minute into the process. I'm using NSU version 1.8.10en.Is there anything I could try to update the phone successfully?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI updated my Nokia N96 to the new firmware version 30.033 after which my phone camera is not working. When I press on the camera button it gives the message (Camera Feature not Supported). I played many tricks with it but of no use. I reset my phone to the original factory setting through (*#7370#) and Multi-finger process but of no help. I even reinstalled the updated version but the problem still persists. My camera worked fine before the update but now it gives the said message and the phone hanges up on pressing the camera button. I request nokia developers to help fix this problem and check their updates for buge before uploading them to the server to save users from problems & worries.

Hi guys, I'm having problem with my memory card after I updated to version 50 formware. After installating version 50, everthing works file. But After I configure my email, it seems that my memory card's content was reset to defaul. The folders that are only visible are the default folders when you reformat the memory card. But the free space is still the same as the size before the memory card was corrupted. So I'm confident that the files are still there because the size is the same. Is there a way to recover those files?

Yet i cannot find this on my phone. Is the same app available to download from ovi or is it just like the ones that were available before that were just like a bookmark on my phone.

I have been using Nokia maps on my E71, and I have updated to the latest version, which deleted the maps present on the phone. I now cannot load any maps onto it. While connected to my PC the maps application says that the maps on my phone are corrupt, but I cannot delete them, or load new ones. I have tried deleting the cities folder, and deleting the qf file, but get the same error. I also reinstalled Ovi suite on my PC, same error. I cannot uninstall the maps app on my phone.

The one issue is that there is no sound or vibration alert for new messages (using Google Talk). I have checked and unchecked the more->options play sound/vibration boxes without effect. Is anyone else experiencing this?
