I have just updated to V 35.0.02.I have N95-1.How can i get rid of this annoying thing?
The Top of the menu has this "MENU" wriiten on the top. This is very annoying.Previously i had FW 20.0.015 and it didn't had this nuisance.
I just buy asha 202 ... I was using mail function to access my gmail but after using 1st day it gets disappear from main menu and when i switchd off and restart the phone its get appear and after using phone for 1 minute it gets disappearkindly assist me i m very disappointd with dis type of errors in new phone of nokia

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have a new nokia x3, around 2 months old, after restarting the phone one time, the main button (the menu button) works for locking/unlocking and even makes the keytone sound when you press it, but i cant open up the menu, its really annoying because without the menu i cannot access the phone! i can still make calls/text messages, but i really want to fix this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I hit the menu to do anything and scroll down to something in it I can hit the menu button again and it does the same as selecting it with the trackpad.Is anybody having this happen to them too. I don't know if it is something new because I came from an old 8330. I used to hit menu and if I hit menu again the menu would go away.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI just bought this phone today, and i have done everything step by step to connect to my wireless router at home, when i go to connection manager it shows my home network, when i set up its acces point all is fine untill i go to the connection menu and there is no symbol for wlan it only has bluetooth,infrered,data cbl, modem, conn mgr, dev mgr, internet tel, IM and Sync, but not Wlan option anywhere, does any1 know what my problem is?when i go to the web a pop up shows sayin no gateway reply, i have done a full rest and then done everything in the bobk step by step, i dont know what wrong with it, the only reason i bought this Phone was for the wifi

I can change the shortcut from the menu fast enough, but can't change the icons under. Any body know the settings for it in the phone ? I tried to look in the profile etc.... can't see it.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWas happily plugging away at my three-day-old N97 and decided to purchase the upgrade for the QuickOffice suite of apps that came preinstalled. Installed the new version, at the end of which the Installer requested a phone restart.When it was starting up, a message stating "system error" popped up. Ever since, I cannot get into the Menu screen, since the same message appears, with an "Ok" item to press. The phone apperas to be working just fine and I can even get into apps by configuring one of the shortcuts in the Standby screen. After backing it up, tried uninstalling all the apps I had recently added, to no avail. In desperation, even reinstalled the firmware via the firmware updater module of the PC Suite, no avail! What should I try to get it back to 100%?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI received a N97 today(from out my country). I put my sim in, i can recive or make calls, however many of the phones menu options are missing. There is no wifi menu, when i tried to connect via Suite, phone didn't show me suite, in mass storage usb it shows me total memory is less than 1 mega, and when i try to enter other applications like "My Nokia" i get "Not allowed now" message. Is the phone locked or something? Can i fix it or should i take it to a service?

When I push it the menu doesn't open but if I use the navigation keys to open, for example the Camera, when I push the menu button, the menu button works to take the picture.I didn't made any moditications into hardware e/or firmware on the phone.I don't want to take it to Nokia Care now.

When ever i send a reply text message to somebody who has text me already and i go about it by going into my inbox and selecting the message, my phone freezes for ages, and then i have to press the text message that i have received that i want to reply to and wait AGES for it to load up. Then when i finally have typed a reply, the screen goes back to the inbox (as its supposed to i think) and then freezes again and i have to wait ages again for it load its self back up
Also, if i receive multi message at one, the only way i can read them is to access the a message and then open it and click the arrows at the top to navigate to the next message in line.Also, if i need to access a message further down the list, thats off the screen, i cant just scroll down, i have to click on a message and use the navigation arrows at the top to get into that text, otherwise when i scroll down the screen goes black and freezes.
I find myself pressing the red button alot to take me back to the home screen to start again.It just seems a long way round of accessing things.Its fine if i go to new message and send it through that way, it just seems very long winded!Does anyone else have a similar problem? Could it be something to do with the amount of texts in my inbox (currently at 3304, 2 sent, 2 drafts and 25 in my folders?
've recently bought a nokia E72 after losing my E71 and I'm really disappointed with this mobile phone. I share most of the problems shared by most of the users. Messy software, awful sound, horrible build quality with lights comig from everywhere. But lately I found another problem with my mobile. When I create a new message, in the messaging menu, I don't have the option to create a MMS message. All the options I have are ''message (sms) / audio message / avatar sms / e-mail''. No signs of MMS creation option. I tried to uninstall the ''avatar sms'' software to check if the MMS menu would appear but still nothing. I've check the MMS settings and all the settings are ok, but still nothing in the messagin menu to create a MMS.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is a really trivial question compared but for some strange reason the app menu that you get when you swipe right in the main menu, started showing these search letters as dividers in the app list. I think they are a horrible waste of screen space but I can't find any menu where to actually change anything.The dividers are similar as in the phonebook but they are actually useful there since I have about 300 contacts there and only a few apps.

I quite like this feature but want to ask.......can you edit these functions? For example, rather than go from General to Silent, I'd prefer be able to select 'Meeting' rather than "Silent'.
