My lumia 800 won't turn on anymore. I tried all key combination / duration, both connected and not connected to the computer or charger, and it's not giving sign of life.The battery was FULL at the last moment I've seen it alive. And it's even not recognised by Zune.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI have been using this for a couple of months and loved it. last night i was trying to pair it with my PC and finally got it working using BlueSoleil. However it spontaneously turned off and I could never turn it on again (I was not handling it in a harsh way at all, just turning it off and on and putting into discoverable mode several times).I thought maybe it's the battery so I chraged it and I had hope since the red LED came on indicating charge, and I waited til it went green. Alas, no difference. My headset is DEAD. Please help revive it, is there a way I can hard reset it or something?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought an XR6 Turbo with a CK-100 installed, has been working great for 6 months but stopped working yesterday, I've checked all the power wires and the red wire has 12v, blue has 12v, and the yellow wire has 4.8v.
The light on the Navi wheel is not coming on anymore. I've tried holding the button in etc, normally it just turns on with the key but it's not working anymore.
My 920 used to show app updates in the marketplace, but, I haven't seen an actual app update for a couple weeks now.. I recently updated my Rogers 920 yesterday and still am not seeing app updates.. As it sits right now, I have to manually go into the app in the app store to update them..

So I got my nokia lumia 920 yesterday and it was working fine, however after a few hours my camera just died, I can't launch it with the button or the camera app and none of the other apps like the panorama works either. I'm really disappointed because I really liked the lumia 920.

The phone is unable to get any 3G signal anymore (Tested on the following cities: Bucharest, Constanta, Timisoara, in Romania, the cities are like 300/500km distance between each other), I get the "H" symbol (before I had 3G), also "Internet Sharing" is not working at all, even though I can connect to the Internet via Cellular. I've tested with and without WiFi signal, the error I get is: "Connection not shared" - There's no cellular data connection to share right now. Check your cellular settings and signal, and try again.I have 4 bars out of 5 signal, and active internet connection.

I know I can do it by going to Settings>ringtones+sounds>Ringer, but this is not very convenient when you need to temporarily disable the Ringer for meetings, etc. at work. I tried plugging the phone into the wall in case the battery was dead. I tried calling the phone. I bought a new Nokia Lumia 800. I noticed that despite turning off vibration, the phone vibrates each time the back key (<-) is pressed. Is there any way to turn this off. i believe this could save a lot of battery.Also how do we completely close an application in Lumia 800? I opened a page in IE. pressed back key. Then pressed and held back key to find there is no active application or IE running. However, when i open IE next time, I see the previous page has been loaded and it has been active all this time which could have been eating in to my data usage as well as battery charge.

Then I ran into the battery drain and low storage warning that was part of the botched .29 upgrade. I eventually did a hard reset and the revised(?) .29 upgrade automatically (and successfully) installed itself.
Since then my alarm has not rung once. Or rather, when the phone's screen is off (like when I am asleep), then the alarm will not go off. Instead, there is a useless notification about it. On the other hand, if my phone is in use at the time of a scheduled alarm only THEN will the alarm ring.
I just realized, while commenting on another thread, that I am no longer tied up by wires. Ever since I switched to L920 (and now 1020) and Windows 8 - since Zune has become useless - I've found myself going wireless (including charging). I think I've used Windows Phone Connector, or whatever its called once, and I completely forgot about it. We can now update/upgrade software via cellular radio, and sync our files to the cloud (Skydrive and ATT) and access them from any device. Hell even my music (Xbox Music) that was stored on my broken laptop just appeared on my new laptop and on my new phone without me even lifting a finger.
Yes, I know we still need it for times when we don't have internet access, but I can't remember the last time I did not have internet access. I just find it so much more liberating.
No iCloud backups > any solution that turns my iPhone back on again without losing data!

I prefer to charge my phone overnight and I also need to turn it off so my number can divert. I have always been able to turn my phone off and charge it, however each and every time I turn it off it turns on again. The iPhone and other andriod phones don't do this, and the HTC didn't do it either, so why does Nokia do this. Is there a setting in the phone?Many google results seem to say it only happens with nokia, and others say it happens with all windows phones, however as previously mentioned, the HTC doesn't do it.

I have been using it for a 4 weeks now and suddenly when it was on the lock screen won't show up just the background without the clock, wifi, 3G or any other icons showing. After that when the screen timed out I can't get it to wake up anymore. When I get a text, call, email it doesn't vibrate. The volume, power or camera buttons don't wake it up. The screen doesn't light up or the touch keys. Does anyone one of a solution or has seen this before? I still have a 60% battery so won't be able to try until tomorrow until the battery dies. Plugging it into USB, I can see the phone on the computer.
