Nokia Lumia :: 920 Camera Flash Won't Turn Off
Nov 11, 2012I have tried to turn off the camera flash on my 920 but all three settings (Auto, On, Off) still produce a flash regardless.

Apr 2, 2010I feel incredibly stupid, but for the life of me I CONNOT find how to turn on the flash for my camera.In my old Nokia it was as simple as going to the camera settings and selecting Flash > On / Off, but on my new 2730 there doesn't seem to be such an option. I have tried going into all the camera settings but couldn't find this very simple setting.

Jul 24, 2010I searched and thought for sure this would've been answered elsewhere, but couldn't find anything.Anyway, when I'm in the camera app in camera mode, the flash toggle is set to "auto". When I switch it to "on", nothing happens. However when I go to video mode and press, "on", it works fine. Am I missing something?

Feb 24, 2014When taking pictures in darker scenes that the flash ruins the picture by making it look more red than it should be ? I get this orange glow in all the pictures, with no flash it looks better and whites look more white without the orange tint. A wall that should be pitch white looks more dull and orange for example with flash, same goes for skin color. It feels like the flash is shooting amber out or something.

Aug 14, 2015Had my 1020 for almost a year now. No issues. Has all latest updates. Last update was sometime back. Had it in my shirt pocket while cycling fir two hours and it was running sports tracker.
I have done this twice a week since I had the phone and no issues. Last night finished ride and took phone out of pocket to see camera led light on. Turned sports tracker off. Tried soft reset. Had a hard time getting it to reset.
Screen was blank/black after reset and took multiple tries to get phone on and working. Finally got phone working but led light still wont go off and camera wont start. Tried starting camera with button and through multiple camera aps with no luck.

Oct 20, 2013It makes no difference which Nokia "Camera" I use. The photos all turn out with a strong lime green tint. I've tried three 1020s now and am about to give up. I took a picture of friends in their living room, which was cream with neutral earth tone colors. It came out green on green. I took another of friends in a sand beige painted classroom. The walls came out a sickly lime green.
The only commonality in both situations was that one person in each grouping was wearing lime green, so I went back to the classroom to try again. With the classroom empty, the photo still came out lime green.

Oct 7, 2011I have problem with my X6-00 16GB primary camera. When I turn camera on, screen stays black, only this focusing white box and other symbols are visible on screen. But no picture. When I push "take picture button", then focusing box starts blinking and stays like this, until camera goes standby mode. Secondary camera, in front of the phone is working fine. Also I have a Flashlight program (Brightlight v1.0) on my phone and it doesn't turn camera flash on, like it should be.
I gave my phone to friend who reset phone to the factory settings. After that camera worked for a while, but one day it was again black. I have done a couple of times software reinstall with nokia ovi suite on my computer. After that camera works couple of days or only couple of hours and then goes black again. Software version is the newest for that phone, v32.0.002.
