After updating firmware with V50.0.001 version, I tried a lot to update music player with new tracks but I didn't get any track updated in my 'all songs'. even not in 'recently addad'.
I'm using Nokia C2-00. While using Voice Recorder & Radio Recorder.. The files are saved on AAC & AMR formats. Is der any java softwares to Convert those files in MP3 file in my Hand device.?
I just bought a Nokia 5530 Xpress Music and tried out syncing my phone's files using Ovi Suite so I can easily retrieve them if ever they get deleted when I update my phone's firmware. When I synced my files, everything else worked fine except for the music files and these are the following problems I encountered: Ovi Suite did not only copy my phone's music files to my pc, it also copied all the music files of my pc to my phone at the same time. This shouldn't happen right? Because I'm only trying to sync my phone's files to my computer, and not transfer files from my computer to my phone so it should only copy all the songs in my 5530 to Ovi Suite.
Every time i format my memory crd, music files frm the card start missing within 9 or 10 days. This problem persist since the tym i bought mine cell phone. I sub mitted mine phone many times in nokia care, but each n every time they said mine mobile hav sm virus which is 'eating' mine files. Thy hard reset n gv mine cell back, but problem not solved. I put language lessons on the player with files listed as Lesson 01, Lesson 02.....lesson 11, 12, 20 etc and rather than put them in proper order like anything else I have ever used to play them it is putting 1, 10, 11,12,13 etc together then putting 2,20,21,22 etc together.
I got my 5230 updated to 20.0.005 last time, and actually it's a good update. The perfomance is better than before, but I encountered a problem that really annoying me.I love listening to music. It's everything for me. But now the music player can't detect new music files, even it's imported from a bluetooth connection. After I save it from the inbox, sometimes it said "General : System Error". The files is inside the memory card, but can't be detected by the music player although I refresh the music library. The same thing happened when I import some music files from the computer using Nokia PC Suite. In the library, there is the artist's name or the album's name, but after I clicked it, there isn't any music files inside. What happened actually with the music player?About the memory card, I got it from the phone package. It's 2 GB, and still has approx. 130 MB free. Is it the memory card or the update?
I recently updated my music player software (for the Nokia 5800). However, when I tried clicking on my music player icon/ going to my gallery and selecting the file "songs" I couldn't open either of them. My songs are still on my phone, but I can't access them for some reason, or open them up. Why is this happening and how can I fix this problem?
I have a Nokia 5800 which I use as my Sat Nav and MP3 player. I have just updated the maps and voice guidance files but there are no voice guidance files on the phone. When I select 'Drive Guidance' or 'Walk Guidance', I have no voices to choose from it just dsya 'NONE'.
Please need help. Does my music player playlists will be lost after firmware update from ver. 20 to ver. 21.o.045 or not and please if anybody knows where those playlists files located on my n97 drive.

Does it matter where the music files are kept so that the media player can still find all of it ? Can I use what ever directory in the phone or the memory card ?
When i play music from the all songs option in the music library the music player completely freezes all the time after a few songs. This happs when as soon as a new track starts to play. then the music app does not close/exit too.no problems when playing music through playlists and by genre.I have to close the music player by force by using the remove memory card feature which closes all running apps. to play music again to use the phone.is there any problem playing music in wma format? i checked the file details in the music i was playing when the player froze.
After updating to firmware v50, my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic music player is not working anymore. The phone won't stop refreshing the music library. I got 900 songs in my memory card and the music player not adding even one song to the library.
I recently have had trouble transferring music to my N97. I keep getting message the the folder was corrupt. I eventually removed all the music from my device though there are still some files there and I can not see them using File Management. Another thing that is occurring is that every time I go the my Music Player is says USB connection active and is has been hours doing this. In fact is locks up and I have to remove the battery and restart again. When I go back to music the does the same thing again and for hours. No music is being transferred as I have checked.
I have recently purchased Nokia N97 and have some problems using media library, exactly.I uploaded some music files to my mobile phone using Ovi Suit and Nokia Music center. But, when i tried to refresh Media Library it said: "0 files were added". although, when i enter Library and choose for instance "Artist" i can see sub folders there, but when i enter there is no music files or albums in it.
Case is that if i try to play some particular song from File Manager, it plays it and i have no problems, but i can not see thous files in Media Library.I have tried to delete files from Nokia Music Center and yes, it deletes them, but i can still see artist and album names in Media Library and can not delete them. Please help me if there is any known solution for it, or any possible way how to get rid of this problem or how to clean my Media Library and delete the files it is not showing.
When I am listing to music mp3 files on shuffles every now and again I will get the mp3's that are associated with ringtones and text messages and alarms which are also mp3 and they are "talking tones", so imagine I am listening to Beyonce and the next song to play is "you have an incoming call!" - so any way to stop or hide them talking mp3 ringtones from when I just want to listen to mp3 music files?
how to remove the songs in All Songs WITHOUT deleting them. I'm using C2-01 and i've about 70 ringtones and 177 songs I don't want the ringtones in the all songs and I know creating playlists would help but i'm searching for other optionsYouPress the 'Accept Solution' icon if I have solved your problem, 'Kudos' my post
I am a newbie to the n900. I seem to have lost all my media files. I can see them in file manager but they don't appear on the main media player. Does anyone have a solution or no of a really good media player.
Is this possible on the N900? I was trying to do it yesterday and couldn't see how to do it either from within the file manager or the media player, not a huge problem but if there's an easy work around/solution it would be good to know.
Music files (and not all of them) find themselves in my pictures folder on my E71. I sync my computer and E71 using Win7 and the latest OviSuite. I can't even delete those sound files from my photos folder. Everytime I sync, a duplicate music file is synched to the wrong folder. It uses up memory and, well, it's annoying. Can anyone help?
I downloaded a lot of mp3 music from my PC and add them to the music library. Even though I removed all the mp3s from the phone, I can still find the songs from library? In reality those files are not any more in phone (also memory card is empty). How can I erase the ghost files?
My phone said "memory full, delete some data",Ever since, all my tracks bar 3 are not showing on the memory card, neither are about 90% of my sound, image and video files.
Basically, my memory card is only showing a very small number of files and the rest I cannot access. Phone is N73 that caused this. Memory card is Mini SD.Ive used data cable and is still the case on the laptop, also tried memory card reader. Still exactly the same only showing small number of actual files. I can see the folder names however it says empty. But in properties it still recognizes the fact that that 1.9GB is used of 2.0GB. However I can only access about 100MB of those files.
I am facing an error on some files downloaded from ovi player as- "File format not recognized". I have ovi music unlimited subscription. Although i have tried reinstalling windows media player, Ovi player etc., but those certain files just redownload in few seconds and also they have Unknown Artists and unknown Albums with them. While i have no problems in playing other files , so i don't think this is a codec related issue.
