I put language lessons on the player with files listed as Lesson 01, Lesson 02.....lesson 11, 12, 20 etc and rather than put them in proper order like anything else I have ever used to play them it is putting 1, 10, 11,12,13 etc together then putting 2,20,21,22 etc together.
How can I get it to sort the files normally?
I have couple of folders of mixed type of music on my PC and want to transfer them to my iphone and keep content of each folder together.. On PC, I changed the Album name for each file in each folder to Album 1, 2,3, .... (through propterty of the file). But when I transfer them to my Iphone, there are not under one album. there are distributed under Album & Artist, like:
Album 1 artist 1
Album 1 artist 2
Album 1 artist 3
.
.
.
Album 2 artist 1
[code]....
I couln't find any way to can see all for example Album 1 files under Album 1. I know that I can make playlist, but I have several albums and many files, so it will be a long and boring job to select songs one by one and put in a playlist. Is there any easier way to have better control of Iphone filing system? Or is there other application that can do this job easier?

Every time i format my memory crd, music files frm the card start missing within 9 or 10 days. This problem persist since the tym i bought mine cell phone. I sub mitted mine phone many times in nokia care, but each n every time they said mine mobile hav sm virus which is 'eating' mine files. Thy hard reset n gv mine cell back, but problem not solved. They formated mine cell some 7 or 8 times. Sometime whole gallary disaapear frm the phone.

I got my 5230 updated to 20.0.005 last time, and actually it's a good update. The performance is better than before, but I encountered a problem that really annoying me.I love listening to music. It's everything for me. But now the music player can't detect new music files, even it's imported from a blue tooth connection. After I save it from the inbox, sometimes it said "General : System Error". The files is inside the memory card, but can't be detected by the music player although I refresh the music library. The same thing happened when I import some music files from the computer using Nokia PC Suite. In the library, there is the artist's name or the album's name, but after I clicked it, there isn't any music files inside. What happened actually with the music player?About the memory card, I got it from the phone package. It's 2 GB, and still has approx. 130 MB free. Is it the memory card or the update?

Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.
