Nokia Music :: E75 Music Player Will Not Work - Screen Goes Black
Mar 15, 2010Whenever I try and open music player the app will not run, screen goes blank for a moment then returns to the menu. It will not play music files when you try and open them. I have updated the phone software and this has not worked.

Jan 13, 2011Why does all the downloaded music go directly to the f: memory card, when downloading music from Ovi Music Store? It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

Sep 18, 2011i had transferred my music downloaded on my phone to my pc but was unable to play it on the pc then i registered my pc on the ovi player still cant play the files it says that the songs are protected under microsoft VRM & needs small update which i tried to run but it continues to say that cant connect to internet whereas i m connected to the internet.

Jun 26, 2011I know this has been posted like a hundred times or more and I've followed all the threads around this but if anyone has a new suggestion that would be REALLY apreciated .Have a C-5 with latest firmware. Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc

Feb 14, 2010At first my music player only showed 1200 songs/1600ish
this is what i did
1) Refresh(didn't work)
2)Delete Private data under E:/private
3)Removed ALL songs and put them back in(didn't work)
4)Removed ALL songs again and put 10 songs in (to test if its just taking time to reload) and that didn't work
3) Soft restart(didn't work)
4)Hard restart(didn't work)
I'm out of idea's and how i have 0 songs in my music library and its making me mad.

Feb 27, 2012I would like very much to download again the files I have downloaded, but it seems quite frustrating when trying to do that. When accessing ovi music throught Nokia Music Player then accessing Download History I can only download albuns that do not need to be full downloaded, that is, some of them needs to be fully downloaded and other not, besides that problem when I click download to get an album I have to refresh the page as it wont allow me to download again, it seems to have many bugs, bugs that did not exist when downloading the album not from the history.

May 4, 2010I have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.
