My first 5130 (express music) came with a valid voucher. The 2nd came with an expired voucher- No information of this nature was communicated before the deal was done- as required by the Consumer protection act. Cell C refuses to provide a valid voucher.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe problems with Comes with Music continue.My first year has expired, and though I have bought a second Comes With Music device I have not yet worked out how I am going to plug that in (see separate post about problems of only one phone per CWM account even if you buy a new phone and renew).
Put my old SIM in new CWM but without yet activating the PIN (two months from sales date to do so) and old phone gets upset and music stops working. Bizarre, so think redownload music to phone again, pain but if necessary will do so.
However, when I try to download the music from PC to phone using Nokia Ovi Player, won't let me, it tells me I have not got the license, I can only download music from the Music Vault.
So I download a track from the music vault, and then try to download it to phone.Still will not let me.Can play track quite happily on the computer, but not on the phone.
As an aside people talk about DRM and how if you are a legal music downloader (like me) then it should not bother you. The problem is I am trying to use music that I have legally downloaded to use on my phone according to my agreement with Nokia, and the DRM is stopping me using it, even though it should not. The reason people are against DRM it is all too good at stopping you doing what you should be doing.
I'm using my Nokia 5310, it has been updated to the latest firmware, I'm on the latest Nokia Music Player, and it expired less than a month ago.
After upgrading to belle all my contacts are gone. Nokia suite also reports that I have no contacts . However in my sms inbox all the messages are still associated with the contacts that send them. Thus a contact database must still exist on the phone somewhere.I am also having trouble with the music I downloaded from ovi prior to the update. When trying to play the song a error message appears claiming that the license for the track has expired or gone missing and asks me if I want to get a new license. after saying yes I would, a webpage comes up saying I can only request new licenses for songs I downloaded myself( which is all my songs). I guess this another win for piracy as ovi is making it to difficult not to

I had got 22 MB free in phone memory and 100 MB in memory card. I don't think any mobile game uses that much memory so what might be the reason??
Second thing is while trying to use some 3rd party application/software when I tries to access Application Access> Data Access> Read User Data> then I'm able to access only 2 options out of 4 available. One is 'Ask every time' and another is 'not allowed'. How I can add that particular application for 'always allowed' or 'ask first time only' access.

Now my Nokia phone working slowly whenever I play the music and headset sound increasing if I attend the call through headset and hearing music simultaneously. What's the problem? View 13 Replies View RelatedI am having an Empty message (not Blank Message). It takes up the space of a text message but the recipient name or the message is not shown in inbox. When I tried to Open the message it said 'Unsupported message type'. This message is not even getting deleted saying 'Error occurred. Deletion not completed'. I got this problem already Twice. What happened further is, After sometimes more of such msgs starts to appear, and then suddenly all saved messages will get deleted.
Then all the applications (including basic applications like calculator) will get deleted. I gave to Nokia service centre. They just said it could be virus so they got my mobile, gave back (installing the software again I guess, I don't think they Cleaned Virus as told by them) and told me to use memory card after scanning. I scanned the card with the top antivirus - with up to date virus database. So I am very much sure there is no virus in my Memory card.
