I am having problems to log in to my ovi music account via my nokia x6-00 16GB. Whenever i opens the ovi music app on my phone, it automatically redirects to auto sign in, but gives an error that 'you couldn't be signed on automatically, please sign in manually' but there are no links to sign in manually, and it keeps on redirecting to auto sign in. Please help me i have activated my unlimited music subcription yesterday only.
View 2 RepliesMy Ovi Music software started three days ago telling me an error message, when trying to start the program "automatic login failed, please try again manually" and it keeps on doing this for hours. I am not able to stop this process and so it is not possible to try that manual login! Now I am not able to download any music with my OVI Music Unlimited account.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNokia rebranded Nokia Music store to OVI Music in India. Earlier I had Nokia Music Store account as OVI login was not supported in Nokia Music store. So my Nokia Music account and OVI login were different. Now when login to music.ovi.com and select India as country , I am asked to login. I can login with my OVI id but then dont see remaining tracks and download history. I login with my older Nokia Music account and I can see remaining tracks and History.
Some of my friends report that in their case , their Nokia Music and OVI account are merged and tracks and history details are still there.But this has not happened in my case. Please let me know when Nokia will be able to merge 2 accounts for me. or is there any way I can do it myself? I know that similar thing happened for OVI share and Sports Tracker accounts but they were eventually merged with single OVI account.
It says network problem but everything NOT nokia works fine like IE and multiplayer games. when i try to log into nokia music or even nokia account in settings it gives me a network problem. i tried this on wifi and 4g. didnt work but everything else did. i have nokia 810 (tmobile)

After i start music store i can't login or go to main page because when i press those buttons i get error "Music store: Unable to perform operation" Tried to do hard reset and update firmware again with no help. FW: 40.0.005. I think this problem came with this new V40 firmware or shortly after that when i lost email notification from shortcut homescreen.

It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI know this has been posted like a hundred times or more and I've followed all the threads around this but if anyone has a new suggestion that would be REALLY apreciated .Have a C-5 with latest firmware. Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc

And it happens every time I open it. I opened my setting for iTunes and it has my Apple ID username and password logged in mad home sharing is On. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.
