Got the phone yesterday... Was out for a nice walk this morning talking to my mom on the phone and she went silent - looked down at the phone and the AT&T logo was there - the phone was rebooting. Had been on the phone for maybe 7-8 minutes and it had been up to my ear the whole time, so it wasn't a combination of anything on my part.

I was having a telephone conversation with my fiance when during the conversation my storm rebooted all by itself. I did not touch it as I was using bluetooth at the time! Has this happened to anyone else and if so is there anything I can do to stop it from happening?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry bold 9000, recently ive been having some problems with it, i did a routine battery pull while the phone was frozen, when it rebooted the arm on the loading screen went around twice then the phone rebooted again, it repeatedly does this until the phone dies, if i hook it up to the charger....same outcome, i am a poet and have months of work stored in the memos, and have about 90 numbers that werent saved on the simcard, i took the simcard out and the memory card, i have done pretty much everything i wus ever told to do as far as fixing it, i plan on buying an bold 9700 but i still must retrieve my contacts and memos can anyone give me any tips as far as fixing it, or atleast tell me how to get my memos and contacts off, thanks for your time and consideration.

I logged on to my Live account and there is a device back up on there but how do I install it back to the phone. I hope my contacts are stored in there. Anyways when the phone rebooted i went through the how set up process and it new installed it. Its like a factory fresh phone. No app, no contacts, nothing.

Hi.My E7 keeps freezing and needs re booting.It's been re flashed at the Nokia Care Point and has been back to Nokia themselves.I have installed every update available including Anna.Still the problem persists. The problem occurs mostly after the phone has been on standby overnight.Upon waking the screen and performing a few tasks it freezes.Also when trying to open the camera function it often jams.Furthermore it seems to be at it's worst when slightly cooler than normal (perhaps why it's worst on a morning,having been left out of my pocket overnight.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi've tried installing the updated ovi maps 3.04 several times now and each time i launch the app it will cause the screen to fade, then i get red, blue and green lines, then the phone reboots. i initially did the upgrade from 3.03, that version worked great, and as soon as it finished and i launched the app is crashed the phone. rebooted a few times and same thing, did a soft reset and same thing. then i completely wiped the phone, formatted the storage, hard reset, installed my must have apps like mfe, joikuspot premium, opera mobile, nimbuzz, facebook and Internet, then installed ovi maps............same thing. so now i'm going to do it all over again and install the maps first, then start installing apps one by one. i'm sure it's an incompatibility between ovi maps 3.04 and one of my apps. i'm not sure why though because 3.03 worked just fine with even more apps installed, and it's not like any of the apps i installed were betas. well after some additional testing i've narrowed the problem down to an incompatibility between ovi maps 3.04 and the current version of joikuspot premium downloaded from their website. i wiped the phone, installed the new version of ovi maps, and the app functioned as expected. i then downloaded and installed the current version of joikuspot premium directly from their website, registered it, launched it, then shut it down. then i tried launching ovi maps again. the application came up but after 5 to 10 seconds i got color streaks across the screen then the phone rebooted. i continued to do this each time i tried to launch the app. then i uninstalled joikuspot, rebooted, and launched ovi maps and it worked just fine. i then tried installing some of my other apps i use like opera mobile, mfe, nimbuzz. all those functioned just fine and ovi maps continued to work. i then reinstalled joikuspot, rebooted, registered, etc.... and ovi maps started crashing again. then again i uninstalled joikuspot, rebooted, and ovi maps started working again.

When I rebooted my PC (xp sp3) and launched again Ovi suite I had no problems but now Ovi can't see my N82, while PC and phone are connected! One time I somehow got Ovi to see N82 but I had to add it as a new device, even if I already did before.

Since purchasing the Lumia 710, i am facing the problem of "some of the call cant be ended even after pressing call end key for several times then phone goes in hang mode and getting restrated automatically. The probelm is persisting even after changing the sim and updating with nokia care.

I've tried incoming and outgoing calls, on handset, speaker, wired headset, and bluetooth - nobody can hear me and I can't hear anyone. Volume is up nice and loud.
Music works through the speaker and wired headset, and the mic in the headset and phone work in the diagnostics app.
This is odd? Are there any settings I can check for call audio?

Sometime the touch screen freezes and does not respond when there is an incoming call. None of the buttons also work. Once the call gets disconnected from the other end, the phone goes back to normal and a missed call indication appears in the call tile.

When I am outside and I receive a call I can barely hear the person!! I've pushed the volume button up to 10 during a call but I still can barely hear a thing! I've had to resort to selecting loudspeaker to be able to hear anything. Obviosuly this isn't ideal!
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm on my second Lumia 900 (first was preordered, current one is in-store replacement). Both had the 12084 software update. And both did this - when on a call with the headset plugged in and the mini USB plugged into a computer or wall socket, the screen would lock me out.
If I pressed the side button to get the lock screen - nothing. The call in progress would still be there, but the device would not allow me to do anything until I either unplugged the mini USB or pressed the side button enough times for it to return and show me the call screen.
I am experimenting a very weird and annoying problem with my Lumia 900. Since last night the volume level during the phone call became suddenly very very low. I can hardly hear the other speaker. Apparently this is only happening during a phone call in normal mode. If I press the loudspeaker button, for example, I can hear the conversation perfectly as usual. Same using the earpiece: I can hear and talk without any problem. Moreover, the audio output appears to be OK outside the phone call itself: when using apps, music, games or any other feature except the phone call, I can't spot anything abnormal in the volume level, everything appears to work properly.
I would like to point out that:1) the volume level during the call is set to the max. level as usual (10/10)2) the master volume of the device, as set though both right-hand buttons, is set as usual to the max. level (30/30).3) I turned off and on the device at least five times since last night. Unfortunately the problem persists4) I made several tests by dialing different numbers, with no success: the volume level is still very very low during a call.5) I did not notice any other problem in the last days nor the device suffered any "catastrophic" event.In other words, I can only hear a speaker during a phone call either keeping the loudspeaker always on or using the earpiece. It's like my call volume were set to 1 or 2, while it is actually set to 10!I am really surprised, I bought my Lumia 900 end of June and I was very, very satisfied so far
I am having issues with my 900, I have no audio when making calls either outgoing or incoming...no speaker phone either.When I use Tango Video calls the audio works fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSometime ago noticed that 920 screen goes black when I answer the call or press Call button.And while the screen is black it doesn't response either.Its almost impossible to cancel call when this happens.Only means to cancel the call I've come up with so far is to push lock button twice and try to push End call button when it appears for appr. 0,2 seconds and then disappears again.

1. Display goes off when call/SMS/email receives. It happens more often with calls. However the call will not get disconnected and can speak till the caller disconnects.
2. After restarting of the phone there is no hint of call/SMS received when the phone was in display blank
3. I cannot pair with my windows 7 laptop via Bluetooth
4. I cannot receive any business card and not hint of reception of the same
Just got the Lumia 920 last week. However I noticed while talking on the phone for just 10 -15 mins the phone's earpiece gets really hot (Phone is on the AT&T LTE) . I had the Lumia 900 before this and never had an issue like this. I have shut off location services and reboot my phone. Is this normal?
