View 3 RepliesI spent an afternoon trying to have my new BT dongle (reeking transparent 2.0) working and after a lot of problem I won. When I rebooted my PC (xp sp3) and launched again Ovi suite I had no problems but now Ovi can't see my N82, while PC and phone are connected! One time I somehow got Ovi to see N82 but I had to add it as a new device, even if I already did before.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I finally wanted to organize my phone contacts. Why does the phone always go back to the group after adding a single member? I always have to click the add member again and then click the letter I was last and search for the next contact. This is very bothersome, why can't I select multiple contacts or at least go back right to where I last stopped.
Why in the world can I only add up to 20 members into a group? My family contacts is about 50 or 60 and my work contacts are at least 40 as well. Why is there such an arbitrary contact limit? If it is because of group SMS then simply make it possible to disable this feature for bigger groups.
Overall I find the people app very annoying. The Lumia 900 is a phone first, not a tablet. As such I would expect it to have all the features a phone needs. No phone profiles (Silent, Phone alert only, all alerts, etc.) no separate control for ringtone sound and all other sounds, no notification of missed events when the phone is locked.

yesterday I bought my Lumia and now I´m really frustrated. I am not able to bring all my Contacts and Calendar entries to it. Therefore I cannot change from my E90 to the new Lumia and the investment was for the rubbish.

I have a Nokia E71, and i was using Nokia PC Suite to sync it with my outlook 2007 it all worked fine, contacts, to do notes and calendar (i wasn't syncing mail cuase i use gmail), untill the new ovi suite came out and i decided to try it since It sounded better.turns out It really sucked this ovi suite!! one of the worst softwares I've ever used, it duplicated all of the appointments that had color categories in outlook 2007, it is dead slow to sync!!!(i mean reeeaaly slow), even tough the Suite integrates more stuff in to one place it has reduced funcionality to sync stuff with my phone, it offers less funtions, not to mention that the user interface sukcs (its poorly desingned, it takes long to accses stuff, it shows me stuff as if it was advertisement).PC suite was very simple but funcional, oviously i went back to pc suite, to my surprise i couldn't sync, pc suite & the phone would do as if they were syncing, but when i checked at the end it wouldn't sync stuff.

I used it both with USB cable and BTooth. First my synchronization with Lotus Notes calendar stopped (have to go by the PC), then contacts and messages. And today it does not even recognize the phone as a compatible phone. In the whole period I have been installing all kind of applications. My suspicion is that the trouble is due to an installation of a particular application - my question is:Anyone that got an idea what might have caused this?? Over The Air, but there was no clear definition on how to do that, So I want to the other option, Nokia Ovi PC Suite. The download kept failing but it kept resuming when I tried to download the update again. After the download finished Usually you do not need the internet to install something that you already downloaded (Should Always Be Like That!!) So I thought that and while the update was installing Nokia Ovi PC Suite said something about Cannot Connect To Service, Although My Internet was PERFECT! and I tried to turn on my E63 and it would just vibrate and then turn off. I tried reviving it by leaving the battery out for 5 mins ( I also left it out for 6 hours) And when you turn it on Hold the Green Button Call And the 3 and the *. But none of that works, I wanted to send my phone to Nokia Care through Post But you need the IMEI but How can I do that?

On the new Nokia E72, its more difficult to use, you should click "options" then select "new entry" then you can type the information, why shouldn't Nokia E72 be the same as Nokia E71 by typing straight on the standby screen & continue inserting data? Please note that I downloaded Version 023.002 in my Nokia E72. I hope this can be fixed on the new software update soon.

It can only let me change wallpaper? I tried to reset using phone, using code, restarting a few times etc Nothing helped.I even sent a message to Nokia helpline explaining all what has happened and they send me a silly email back with simple ""use "add content" in order to add widget to your main screen "Somebody help!
