View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I finally wanted to organize my phone contacts. Why does the phone always go back to the group after adding a single member? I always have to click the add member again and then click the letter I was last and search for the next contact. This is very bothersome, why can't I select multiple contacts or at least go back right to where I last stopped.
Why in the world can I only add up to 20 members into a group? My family contacts is about 50 or 60 and my work contacts are at least 40 as well. Why is there such an arbitrary contact limit? If it is because of group SMS then simply make it possible to disable this feature for bigger groups.
Overall I find the people app very annoying. The Lumia 900 is a phone first, not a tablet. As such I would expect it to have all the features a phone needs. No phone profiles (Silent, Phone alert only, all alerts, etc.) no separate control for ringtone sound and all other sounds, no notification of missed events when the phone is locked.

View 3 Replies View RelatedCant understand why the backup to PC of vital Lumia phone information such as contacts, calendar and messges can not be easily and quickly achieved as with the Nokia suite and N8. I believe it is synced automatically to Sky-drive but I cannot find evidence of this. I would like to have control of this data for easy retrieval and stored on my PC. Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.

When I try adding contacts, they say that they receive my invitation, accept, and then I disappear from their contact list. This has been the case with at least 6 people. On my side, they never move from 'pending contacts' into 'contacts'. I deleted my BBM and reinstalled etc. but I still have the same problem.

I got an awesome deal on a 64GB microSD card during Black Friday and I got all of my music loaded. I then noticed the Podcasts app pre-installed on the phone. I looked into it and found that there you can subscribe and download current Podcasts on your device.
My question is this: How would I go about adding a series that I have already downloaded to my PC? Since I don't have a data-cap over WiFi at home, normally I'd just re-download. However, the show I'm wanting to load up, The Awful Show, has been over for a number of years and is nowhere to be found (in it's entirety, at least).

If I logged in on a PC it will ask do you want to make your profile public so people can find you?
