Nokia Lumia :: Find Files That Have Downloaded?
Nov 19, 2012I often use You Tube Downloader to fill my phone with videos to keep the kids happy, but when I've downloaded them, the Kids Corner section on my Lumia 920 doesn't find the downloads. I've tried looking on the phone for a file manager function, but can't find one.
1. how do I get it to recognise downloaded videos?
2. how do I browse the files on my phone?

Jun 5, 2012I'm using Lumia 710. One problem that I'm facing is that whenever I download any mp3 files either from any music apps or email, I can't find the same in the Music. How do I get these files in my music? When I download images, docs etc from email/apps, I usually get option : 'save to phone', but the same option is not available for Music files.

Feb 11, 2012Trying to use app Map on Lumia 800 I am not able to find the search icon on the map allowing me to search for a place or business or shops etc. The only available icon is the search icon outside the map which only is used to search internet giving me a list of links which can not be connected to the map. I have tried to follow the instructions given in the manual however with no success. It all stops after launching the map. Note: This problem affects only the use of Map (Bing) and not Nokia Map or Nokia Drive. What am i doing wrong?

Aug 6, 2010I downloaded a theme OTA and I can't find it anywhere. It said it was for the 8520 OS 4.6, my phone said it was downloaded successfully but it's missing. It shows up on my applications list but not with my themes. I've checked every folder and nook and cranny. I've even restarted my phone. I wouldn't say I'm a BB pro or anything, but I'm fairly experienced so I've tried the obvious things.

Things I have tried so far:
1. Soft/hard key resets - The nokia logo comes up but I can't get the exclamation mark to appear when I press the keys.
2. Windows Phone Recovery Tool - I click my phone was not detected and get it goes to the trying to find a connection page, but never connects.
3. Nokia software updater for retailer - it detects my phone and downloads, but then when I go to install it says "This device is not supported by nokia software updater for retail"
4. Nokia care suite - product support tool for store - product not supported.

I havent used my cellphone for like 6months now due to the fact that it says "ERROR: Unable to find bootable option: press any key to turn off" this happens every time it turns on, The other issue is that no PC will connect with it, I have tried different cords etc. Its a Nokia Lumia 1020. what can I do?

I can't even delete those sound files from my photos folder. Everytime I sync, a duplicate music file is synched to the wrong folder. It uses up memory and, well, it's annoying. Can anyone help?

Nov 5, 2013I am currently using HTC ONE, and i downloaded pictures from internet using opera mini.... Usually you can find and SEE the pictures you downloaded under "album" right? BUT I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!
I did select "show all pictures" under the setting selection of the album on the top right corner, and the "album" selection on the top left. When i just finished downloading the picture with opera, there's a choice of "view the picture with album" and at this moment I CAN SEE THE PICTURE
BUT! if i close opera and try to open it through album directly, I can't find them at all.
I've tried saving the pictures under various folders, none of them work. The part that really confuses me is that when I open the folders on my computer through HTC ONE Sync Manager, let's say I saved it under "screenshots". I can see the pic that I downloaded sitting there with the rest of the screenshots in the folder just fine yet when I use the "album" app that came with the phone originally, I can still see the screenshots that i made with the phone but the pics that i downloaded and saved are gone! Can't find them anywhere.
I downloaded some 3rd party file organizing app trying to solve it but the same problem occurred.
And I've used not just opera to download them...i've tried chrome, and the app that came with the phone originally. Same problem.
I was trying to save a pic and set it as my avatar last night and since i couldn't find it anywhere in the album in the end i had to take a screenshot of the photo, and then set my avatar through the screenshot pic (which is the one that could be viewed smoothly through album) .

May 24, 2012so i was downloading apps on my iphone 4s . so when you usally press install app it scrolls on the page were it shows the app being downloaded but my phone didnt do this it just comes back to the homepage of the iphone and i cant find the app ! but when i look for it in spotlight it shows the app.
