i put a sd card from my droid into my lumia the pics and video load but i can not find the files that are on the card.when i plug the phone to a pc everything on the card shows up what am i doing wrong

1. how do I get it to recognise downloaded videos?

How do I get these files in my music? When I download images, docs etc from email/apps, I usually get option : 'save to phone', but the same option is not available for Music files.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter I updated my phone to WP 8.1 I didn't like it for many reasons and before I downgrade it I restore my files and apps and pics and everything in my SD card.... Later on after I downgrade to WP 8. I couldn't sync my files or get them back again to my phone. even when I brows the files throw my PC it shows the folders but its' empty, however the size of the SD card recognize the files... What to do ?? It's very important files .. Do I lost it forever ??

Music files (and not all of them) find themselves in my pictures folder on my E71. I sync my computer and E71 using Win7 and the latest OviSuite. I can't even delete those sound files from my photos folder. Everytime I sync, a duplicate music file is synched to the wrong folder. It uses up memory and, well, it's annoying. Can anyone help?

When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. What is wrong with my 5230, why it doesnt find my memory card and why inserting it makes so slow? I would like to get it work because it has all my music and pictures etc...

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy phone said "memory full, delete some data",Ever since, all my tracks bar 3 are not showing on the memory card, neither are about 90% of my sound, image and video files.
Basically, my memory card is only showing a very small number of files and the rest I cannot access. Phone is N73 that caused this. Memory card is Mini SD.Ive used data cable and is still the case on the laptop, also tried memory card reader. Still exactly the same only showing small number of actual files. I can see the folder names however it says empty. But in properties it still recognizes the fact that that 1.9GB is used of 2.0GB. However I can only access about 100MB of those files.
I was trying to back up my memory card (5800XM) via Windows XP - copying/pasting - and several corrupt files were thrown up.e.g "22%.dat" in the Private....CacheE folder, a file for Opera Mini DS folder Even when I deleted 22%.dat from the phone, it was miraculously resurrected as soon as I tried to copy over again. Do I have to reformat the card & reinstall Ovi Maps, music / image files, Apps again ?

I, of course, tried to restore the phone with Zune, but this is not possible I only get the 801812E0 error. I tried soft and hard reset and whatever, but nothing seems to work, it looks like my sim card is fried. My wife then took the phone to the shop, and they said I had to order a new sim card, but it is not true, because the sim card works just fine if I put it into another phone. I don't care about any of the data that was on the phone, I just want it to work again.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia Lumia 710 and took pictures in the month of March. On April 1st, a new tile started for April 2012, but my photos for March are no where to be found.
Some of the photos that I took in March, I assigned as the photo for contact photos and are still assigned as their photos, so it seems like they might still be in the phone some where, but where they went, I don't know.
So when I try to use my "Me Tile" to check in at a location it just gives an error message "Can't Search We're having trouble searching for nearby places right now."
I've tried master resetting phone, location services are on, battery and sim pull, no improvement. Checking for updates in phone menu, says phone is up to date, so no OTA available.
Then tried connecting to Zune on laptop, Zune can't see phone when plugged into USB, although Windows did download and install drivers. Uninstall Zune and re-install to try to fix, no improvement.Why does Nokia Drive work, but check in won't?
Before I use Nokia C600-Symbian S60 V5. I can search, find and connect the point-to-point wifi. but now I switched to lumia 920, but this wifi can't be searched and showed, let alone to be connected. anyone know the reason and how to solve the problem. because I only have this one access to use internet.
