Jun 5, 2012I'm using Lumia 710. One problem that I'm facing is that whenever I download any mp3 files either from any music apps or email, I can't find the same in the Music. How do I get these files in my music? When I download images, docs etc from email/apps, I usually get option : 'save to phone', but the same option is not available for Music files.

However, I have some music I bought from the Microsoft store which now can't play. It states I should check my xbox music subscription but I don't have one and have never needed one. I bought the album and downloaded it, I'm not streaming from xbox music.
I don't want to pay for xbox music when I bought the music. I'm not streaming it so I don't see why I have to pay twice.

Jan 20, 2011Ok seems that the entire ovi music store is borderline useless..well make that useless. The songs downloaded over the air sounds like worse than AM radio.
I cannot download a single song from the pc application, the downloads resets every time. I am yet to downaload a single song from there. Emails to the support desk has not been replied back.
Anyone facing the same problem? Now I know why the reviewers were so kind to N8..shucks for a few benjamins more I could have got the desire hd

Sony Ericsson Satio phone (Jailbreaked), which runs exactly the same OS as the Nokia 5800, Symbian S60V5. Jan 18, 2010I've had my 5800 for a few months now and love the phone. I downloaded a lot of music onto it when I first bought it and it has been working fine. I have recently moved house and no longer have the internet at home (and cant use it at work as we cant install things like that), and I know I should be able to download the music directly from the phone. I've tried to do this and get as far as the 'My Downloads' section showing the new track I am trying to download, but that's it the phone doesn't seem to store it.
I've tried different memory cards so I know that isn't the problem. I've tried formatting one of the meory cards and retrying it but it still doesn't work. I've tried going into the Applications then into the Memory Card (also tried the Phone itself) to see if it had maybe stored the track under something like images, but it isn't anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not planning on getting the internet at home so I really need to be able to do this via the phone itself.

Mar 27, 2010I downloaded the latest nokia ovi player since it threw out a message stating the the latest version was needed inorder to use the New Ovi Music. I installed it successfully and tried downloading 5 songs. All of them failed to download after completing 1 MB. I don't know the reason but it has deducted 5 songs from my voucher pack. It is a loss for me.

When I pressed the download icon - i normally login - but I got an error saying that javascript was not enabled on my phone - when it was. Mar 27, 2010Nokia rebranded Nokia Music store to OVI Music in India. Earlier I had Nokia Music Store account as OVI login was not supported in Nokia Music store. So my Nokia Music account and OVI login were different. Now when login to music.ovi.com and select India as country , I am asked to login. I can login with my OVI id but then dont see remaining tracks and download history. I login with my older Nokia Music account and I can see remaining tracks and History.
Some of my friends report that in their case , their Nokia Music and OVI account are merged and tracks and history details are still there.But this has not happened in my case. Please let me know when Nokia will be able to merge 2 accounts for me. or is there any way I can do it myself? I know that similar thing happened for OVI share and Sports Tracker accounts but they were eventually merged with single OVI account.
