Apr 21, 2012where i can get a tripod mount that will hold this phone?I have seen some on Gaybay that state it will fit this phone, but after mssging the sellers, have been told that they actually will not.I asked one seller what the maximum vertical clamp size was, but they just asked me what phone i had. Dec 9, 2012Cant understand why the backup to PC of vital Lumia phone information such as contacts, calendar and messges can not be easily and quickly achieved as with the Nokia suite and N8. I believe it is synced automatically to Sky-drive but I cannot find evidence of this. I would like to have control of this data for easy retrieval and stored on my PC. Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.

May 23, 2012When i connect my old headsets from my nokia asha and nokia c3, they fit fine, and perfectly in the headset socket, however i cant vaigly hear anything, even though the volume is on full. Do i need a special nokia lumia 800 headset, or are the ones ive used adequate? They do fit perfectly in the audio socket so i dont see why i cant hear much from them, the 2 headsets ive tried work fine in the asha and can hear loud and clear

In 2011 Subaru Forester I am able to connect the phone and play music, but when I turn the car off and then on again it does not connect automatically like my iPhone does. In my 2012 Toyota Camry I am not even able to get the Lumia to connect to the stereo when my Blackberry has no issues with it.Is this is a Nokia issue or Windows Phone issue? Also, will these issues be addressed in future updates?

I have a panel where my previous car holders used to be fixed to, which were all genuine Nokia ones (meaning the screws are all in the right place).I have looked for a car holder for the N8, and seen some really ideal ones, such as the CR-122. I say this is ideal because i want the compacity to be able to swivel it from portrait to landscape mode.The only snag is that the CR-122 is designed to be mounted to the car windscreen with the suction cup.is there a car holder like the CR-122, without the suction cup - but a screw-fixed adapter to fit to my panel?I really don't like using the windscreen mounted ones as i just can't get used to the position (whereever it is), not to mention blocking my view of the road.

With earphones in, I can hear calls and music ok, and same with loudspeaker, but without earphones in or loudspeaker on, I can't hear music or the other person who is calling. Also, the person who I've rang/has called me can't hear me either. Ringtones and text tones work perfectly normal.

Nov 28, 2012I am getting issues while using Nokia Drive + Beta, my position isn't moving when driving or taking 5 - 10 seconds to update then just freezes again.
it seems that i set destination, it finds me and my destination fine, i click start, it gives the first direction fine, i start driving and nothing, "my position" on the display doesn't move, the only way i can update it is "stop navigation" then "set destination" again where it picks up my new location.
i've ensured location services are on, location within the app is turned on, i've checked my connection is "online"...are there any other settings i should be aware of?
speed alert is off,
landmarks is off,
map colours automatic
updated maps
navigation licence is global
i am using it in a windscreen mount that grips the top and bottom of the phone with little "arms", i've tried in both landscape and portrait orientation. bluetooth is on and hoping to be playing music at the same time eventually.
i have been having the general "freeze out" issue recently with the phone where i lock it and then it doesn't come back on without a button reset, 2 times since friday

I downloaded about 30 apps, a lot of Nokia and also other populars such as Skype, Facebook, Twitter and so on.I haven't received any app update since I bought my phone and downloaded all those apps. I think it's strange because on my 800, I still receive regular app updates (about two-three times a week I think)So, I think it's abnormal that I don't receive any updates on the 920. Could this have something to do with the wifi issue on the current Win8 release?
