Dec 16, 2012When I check Device Manager, I keep getting "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" and the device is a "RM-821|Nokia Lumia 920". I have restarted both Phone and laptop several times. I did connect successfully to my HTC Radar. I don't even get the "Charging" symbol on my Lumia. Connecting My Lumia to another laptop running Windows 8 works just fine. How can I install the correct driver, and from where to I get it? I expected to get it from Windows Update as it should "just works".

Lumia 950 XL :: Second SIM Showing Data Usage When No Sim Card Is Installed
Jan 12, 2016So this is a two-fold issue. The first and most major is that my second SIM card is showing that it has data usage (by an assortment of apps, and mainly System). This is viewable via the Data Usage in settings. I wouldn't normally care too much as long as the SIM 1 data usage is accurate.
The second issue stems from this. I have it set as a metered connection and the correct values set for data allowance, etc. It is still showing data available, with about 250MB still left (out of 2GB). Every time I enter or leave a WIFI network (or it detects a wifi network for auto-connect), I am getting a notification saying that I have used more data than I have allotted. Then when I go to the data usage, it shows that I still have data. Now, the SIM 2 is also showing data, which when added to the SIM 1, would put it over my allotted.
So a couple things:
SIM 2 is showing data usage even without SIM card'You've reached your data limit' notification keeps popping up even though I have data leftData Usage metered connection not showing total usage for both SIM within metered usage even though it's generating it's message based on that.
It is pretty annoying getting that notification all the time, especially since it's a system notification and I like having those set to sound. Also, I can't have 'restrict data usage on overage' turned on due to this bug.
Lumia 1520 :: How To Recover App Installed On SD Card After Hard Reset
May 26, 2015I previously saved the game 'Lost Echo' on my SD card. Yesterday I did a hard reset of my Lumia 1520 (without erasing my SD card) and after that, the game is no longer on my app list. When I go to the store to install it, it attempts to install a fresh copy of the game instead.
I plugged my phone to my PC and tried searching inside the SD card but found nothing. However, I can tell that the app is still inside the SD card as there is more than 1GB of 'other' files when I checked storage sense, which definitely must be the files for the app.
Is there a way to restore the app without doing a fresh installation? I really do not want to lose my game progress.

Aug 2, 2010I have installed the Blackberry messenger on my Bold 9000. It's fully functional.I have 4 small icons now, indicating that I have new messages, but I can't find any new once.
Looking into this matter I found that in my Application Center, the BB Messenger is listed as "not installed" even though I installed it. Re-install also hasn't helped.i cannot delete it as "delete" is not listed in the menu. I'm also not able to see the application using teh Desktop Manager.
so my question are:
1) How can I find out what are the 4 icons indicating?
2) How can de-install my messenger now to just start from scratch?

Jul 14, 2010I've used the Ovi Suite 2.2.0.245 and connected with N900 but selected PC suite mode instead of Mass storage. I read alot that you have to select Mass storage for N900, but Ovi Suite won't then be connected with my phone, but works with PC suite.
I wanted to transfer country maps to the phone so I can use it offline. Selected the Map and downloaded and it said transfered to phone...so everything seems good. But when I go to open those maps on the phone...I can't find them anywhere at all! I'm not sure where they are.....I've check the 'ovi map', then the 'cities' folder but nothing. There are other files there but not titled with the cities i've downloaded. I tried to open those files anyways (having a "?" as their icon) and then selected I think 'Application' or something as ways to open the file.....then needed to download but 0kb...??? it then said unable to download, the file could be corrupted. So now..I'm stuck.
I don't know where the maps were transfered to. Oh and I check on the Ovi suite Map tab and selected my device, and it should alllll the cities and countries listed in my device (phone) already....but I can't find/open them on the phone.

2. Once the installed maps are read from the phone, Ovi tells me that 'Updated maps are available'. Clicking on this message Ovi the pointer changes to a combined left-right arrow and stays there.
3. Now Ovi goes and reads the phone again, looking for installed maps - this time it takes LONGER, before I have the option to update my maps. This process of course takes forever too, but at least this is understandable - loading large files takes time.

5. Also I am back from Europe, I no longer need the Irish maps. Why can't I selectively delete/de-install them? Why do I have to delete ALL maps and reload the US and Canada?
