I was wondering if someone could give some advice. When I first got the Lumia, the group sms function was fine. But now when I try to send a group sms, it vibrates and reads: 'Can't send message Try again'
Can anyone tell me why its like that?
BTW it doesn't work with group text on or off
My friends complain me saying they are recieving an MMS instead of SMS which I sent from my Lumia800 and this majorly happens when I send a Group SMS.

Tried an Android on ATT and it worked. My friend tried it from is WP on Verizon and he gets the same results. Tried to talk to VZW and "We'll look into this" and now its marked as resolved but the same issue exists.

When I receive a multimedia group text, the texts only show the originators number and not the other Group numbers.
This phone is a SAMSUNG GALAXY 6, using Android 5.0.2
Other suggested truning on Group Conversation or Group Messaging in the settings , but that option does not appear.
The instructions I received are below , but like I said, it did not show up on the settings.Is there a difference in the Android versions that would cause the menu to be different or the setting to located somewhere else?

what is group size of contacts to be added in a single group. I have created a group and trying to add up contact in that, but it has some limitations to no of contacts. Earlier I was using curve phone, in that there was not such limitation.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am not able to send Group messages from Nokia C7.I am sending messages to a distribution list having 70 members in it, only 20 messages are going fine and the remaining 50 stuck in the inbox saying Failed or Resend at XX:XX.Then i usually try to click on each message in the out box and send them again. 4) I have taken my old nokia 5310 Xpress music inserted the same sim and sent the 70 messages, they all went very fine.
I have an Xperia X10 Mini, and for the first time ever of using a mobile I want to set up a contact group for all the parents of my kids' football team so I can send out a single message to multiple contacts in one easy go. However, I cannot seem to find a way to do this with an X10. On my old Nokia, it was really easy, but having come into the modern world and finally upgraded to a smartphone, I would have thought this would have been a no-brainer!

View 1 Replies View RelatedCant understand why the backup to PC of vital Lumia phone information such as contacts, calendar and messges can not be easily and quickly achieved as with the Nokia suite and N8. I believe it is synced automatically to Sky-drive but I cannot find evidence of this. I would like to have control of this data for easy retrieval and stored on my PC. Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.
