Just got the nokia 920, added my hotmail, yahoo and google email accounts, it worked for a day, but now the email application keeps crashing. Either the accounts are constantly trying to sync or everytime i click an email message it crashes and goes to the phones home page. I have tried rebooting the phone but that didnt make any difference.

Mail...then I input my email address and password, press sign in and I get the following error message...'We couldn't find the settings for the account information you entered. Make sure the email address is correct, then select Try Again.'I have tried many times hopping it could be something temporally but I believe it is the operating system issue.

View 3 Replies View Related1. when configuring linked mailboxes all may GMail emails appear before my mails from other IMAP account (which maks inbox totally usless)
2. I would like to be alble to search all my emails that are in inbox so I selected downloda emails: all(my translation may be not accurate) is sync settings. That coused the phone to download all my emails from my google account that is approx. 10000 messages. Now the search function in mail app is super slow (like 30 seconds to display anything). I changed the sync options to sync only emails from last month but it didnt change anything.
This only seems to happen in the mail app, has anyone else seen it?When I'm typing a message, the brightness of the screen seems to dim slightly on a key tap, maybe this is a misfiring of the auto screen brightness adjustment that some OLED screens do? But my focus didn't do this... BTW I have auto brightness turned OFF and brightness set to high.What's odd is if I pull up another app with a white background, and start typing, I don't see the issue.Also, just today, I could swear i'm seeing some interference in the mail app where I can see ghostly writing in the background, in addition to the brightness flicker issue.But this still only seems to affect the Mail app?!? maybe it cheats and uses some native code paths that have the issue, rather than using Silverlight?Or maybe my screen is borked.

I use my cell phone for my business and I get telemarketing calls on occasion (Business phones are exempt from DNC). It's nice to send future calls right to voicemail. My android phone used to have this feature and I have tried with Nokia to no avail.

Its RAM remains 80mb full even when no application running only 40-45mb is available. Sometimes its headphones' player buttons stop working and start working after restart.

Now after the update the Nokia Mail does not open anymore. When I push the Mail-button on my C3-00 it shows "opening mail" and then NOKIA "Loading Mail", the white screen with the yellow envelope. But then nothing happens anymore. The screen stays this way FOREVER. It does not freeze, I can exit the application YES/or NO.
Even though I've seen information about how to get Mail working with AOL, I'm still being challenged to find the correct info to insert into the fields as enumerated by Exchange Activesync on the 808.what to enter for all the fields as named in Exchnage Activesync, such as "server" and "domain name" and port number. This gets really confusing: Is the domain name an incomingt server or outgoing server, or something else entirely? Is the "Server" field for incoming or outgoing server? Is the "Port number" in advanced settings for the incoming or outgoing port?

I tried many times but it can not synchronise the mails from my Microsoft Outlook,can not send or recieve mails or says " cannot connect to the server ,check connection settings ". View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I log into OVI Mail everything looks fine. Still nearly nothing is working as it should:
- Clicking on Compose Mail I get a circle rotating but nothing more happens
- If I want to check the checkbox to delete some mails the mail opens rather than checking the checkbox
- Clicking on Reply/Delete nothing happens.
- Logout doesn't work
- could go on with some other quite serious bugs as well
- This is the same for 4 different PCs using IE on WinXP and Win7, Firefox on Win7, Firefox and Chrome on Ubuntu 11.10, no help deleting temporary data That has happened before some weeks ago, but then worked again - then also a search field was available in the web interface. Now the search field is gone again and not to much seems to work.Besides the web interface there are some other issues:
- Outlook can not connect most of the times
- My N8 can not connect most of the times (neither 3G nor WiFi)
This makes OVI mail basically useless - I'm thinking of changing to a different mail provider because it OVI mail is very unreliable to me.
Love my new Lumia 900. One odd issue I can't solve and AT&T can't solve. They referred me to Nokia. When I check a voice mail and delete it, I get a blank text message from 1-(000)-000-0000. I get one for every deleted voice mail. AT&T says there is no setting for this.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had the Lumia 920 for about a week and a half now without any problems, and after the complimentary wireless charger came in, I used it. But now some of my phone's basic apps will not start. When I tap them, it shifts to a black screen (time still visible at the top right), and after a couple of seconds of nothing happening, the phone brings itself back to the start screen. Apps that still work are one's I've downloaded myself from the store and Music+Videos, but just to name a couple, apps like Messaging, Camera, Calculator, Calendar, Contacts, Settings, Mail, Internet Explorer, all give me the problem I've described.
I've tried turning the phone off and on several times, including a soft reset, but no luck.
I have not tried a hard reset yet as I was hoping there might be a solution without having to resort to that.
Don't you think that it would be easier if it were a possibility to close app by single click rather than repeatedly pressing Back button?
Are there any means now to kill an app which has hanged?
This is probably an error 40, but I can't fix it. - There's a space in the top of the homescreen that was filled to begin with - now there's a gap (see the picture) and I can't make the app icons 'fit' to the top anymore.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is a really trivial question compared but for some strange reason the app menu that you get when you swipe right in the main menu, started showing these search letters as dividers in the app list. I think they are a horrible waste of screen space but I can't find any menu where to actually change anything.The dividers are similar as in the phonebook but they are actually useful there since I have about 300 contacts there and only a few apps.
