I'm using the .8106.11500 update on My Lumia 800, installed with Zune. Everithing's fine, my phone lasts for 1.5 day with one charge. The only disappointing thing is, when I open the diagnostic tool and it reads the Battery stats, the read "Total capacity" is not constant, its moving between 1250 mAh-1350 mAh randomly. Shouldn't It be 1450 mAh constantly?
View 4 RepliesAfter i got last update used my phone couple of days and as batery life still seemed too low i decided tro reset my phone. did the reset and first thing i noticed diagnostics tool was missing form apps menu. so then i synched my phone downloaded some apps and decided to check if reseting had any effect on my batterys full charge.

View 10 Replies View RelatedJust want to mention that, allthough it is free (which is great), the route calculation in Ovi Maps is pretty bad in the Netherlands. It often leads me to a destination in a totally inefficient way.I've compared those routes with solutions like Sygic and Google Maps and they DO direct me much more efficiently so there is a lot to improve there I guess.(Not to mention those times when Ovi Maps tells me to turn around on the speedway when I drive a little bit too the right or left.

Still calculating wrong routes. Only navteq.com gives good routes, otherwise navigating using Nokia Maps is useless, Nokia is behind all its competitors of GPS devices. this is why I have Tomtom.

I have a C6-01 and I noticed that when Nokia Maps 3.09 is online, route calculating is irritating slow. Why is that? I cannot think of any reason for that, since Nokia Maps is set to ignore traffic infoI also have Garmin Mobile XT on my phone, and as Nokia Maps 3.09, it only has the map data for the South Brazil region. Both maps have similar size. If Nokia Maps is set to go online, it is way slower on route calculation than Garmin Mobile XT is. don't understand why Nokia Maps 3.09, being a state of art nav system, developed specifically for Nokia Belle, is so beaten by the humble Garmin Mobile XT, which is an outdated system, developed for Linux in the first place !lso, I learned from my experience with Nokia Maps 3.09 that route calculating time is dependent on the amount of maps loaded on the phone. The less maps loaded, the faster is route calculating.

I've got a Nokia N95 with the latest 35.0.002 firmware and a brand new genuine Nokia BL-5F battery. When I first got the battery I cycled it twice to calibrate the gauge as recommended. However, it shows 100% 7 bars until the battery is almost discharged, when it will drop about a bar every 10 minutes until it no longer switches on. This is quite annoying as I don't know how much battery I have left. I'd like it to stop lying to me and drop steadily according to how much charge is left. Also, if I discharge the battery a bit by, say, browing the web so the battery gauge is still showing full and then plug the charger in for a few seconds and unplug it again, it then shows me the true battery level by dropping a couple of bars. However, it will get "stuck" at this level until the charger is connected and disconnected again.It shows full for about two days of heavy usage - WiFi, 3G, GPS and all that, upon when the gauge drops. Is there a way to calibrate it better or should I flash the phone again? Or is the battery faulty?

To double check I also bought PhoneInfoNet from store and checked. IT also shows same thig. Is this reading reliable? Do you folks think it is a battery issue? Even if I listen to music for 10 to 12 hrs, the mobile works fine, no issue of battery low. But during that if I receive any call, then suddenly it displays the battery low error message and the mobile is switched off.I try to check everything of it. The mobile functions normal and in good condition in following cases
1. Wife Connectivity

4. Video play for 2 hrs.

But it only falls down in case of Call. Either I receive call or make a call. I don't know how to Rectify this problem. I had once shown to Nokia customer care, but even after that the problem still remains.I even try factory restore settings and hard format of OS. But still no improvements.

Got a new charger for it, had ONE full charge then had the same problems. Hard reset the other day and is now worse than ever. Last night it was charging for ages, came back to find it at 0% even though it was still merrily flashing to say it was charging, clearly it is not. Left over night to find it had died altogether, cue the usual hours and hours of trying everything to get it to come back on,heating, soft reset, hard reset, unplugging, trying various places to plug in, all usb ports etc blah to then get stuck in the infinite reboot cycle.A zillion hard resets later it finally comes on, leave it to charge a little before going through the set up, there was a small amount of charge, come back to do set up and its gone back down to 0% of its own accord.

On the other hand since Monday but battery life has changed, and even with the full battery the prediction of time (displayed on settings menu) until it becomes empty is about 16 hours, nothing more. Before that I could see a prediction of more than 40 hours, and the phone used to last that long. Now, with the same applications, etc. it decreases drastically, should i send the phone for warranty?
