Apr 18, 20151) For some reason this time the phone insists for me to update using PC. I connect it using PC Companion, it says my phone has 0 bytes memory left, I deleted some stuff and same. No matter what I do I have 0 bytes free left in my phone, so I can't update my phone, and so I can't get rid of the stupid notification in the phone as well.
2) I tried to backup my photos from the phone, opened "File Manager" via PC Companion, looked into the "Pictures" folder but it's only showing 2% of all my photos in the phone. Clicked on literally every single folders and still can't find the first of the pictures.

However, I have over 12 GB of memory on my phone. So what gives? I've read forum threads for other Nokia phones that have the same problem and the only solution is to do a hard reset. When performing the above function the progress bar progresses for sometime goes 50 % completed and then returns to the home screen. Tried formatting the phone/MC as well as re-flashed the firmware but no use. Is there anyone having similar issue ?. FYI the phone is under warranty and there is no proper response.from the nokia centre so i have decided to repair it myself. Is there any workaround for this issue ?

May 5, 2010Now I know this is a simple question but I figure most people are pretty switched on in this forum so should be able to help me quite easily.I have a Nokia 5500 sport with symbian S60 I believe running on it. Now the OS is horribly slow at loading the alarm clock and contacts, takes 6 seconds for the alarm and maybe 2-3 for the contacts.If I open the alarms, then the main menu and click alarms again, it loads instantly. I imagine this is because I never pressed exit and it was still resident in memory. Now I do not run many apps, basically just the essential stuff like SMS, contacts, alarms and contacts, I imagine all of these apps would fit in memory at once quite easily, is there an option to force apps to stay resident? Or perhaps instead of having 'exit' change the button to be 'home' so that they stay running in the background?I'm sure what I want to do is possible, I am just not sure how to do.

Apr 1, 2012I have recently updated to a new iPhone 4S and want to back up/sync all of my contacts and calendar infor from my old iPhone 3G to my husband's MacBook Pro and then add it all to my new phone. I understand that this needs to be done via iTunes but am worried that if i sync it this way it will wipe all of my details on my phone and replace it with y (empty) ical info from the MacBook?
I have already backed up the phone using itunes - backup - but when i click 'sync calendar' in the itunes prefs it only displays the calendars on the mac (Work and Home) and not the phone (Calendar)

Having great fun in doing so but not always given the option of where to save them to with the end result that they are saving to the phone memory which keeps filling up and then giving me an error message.
