I have few hundreds of messages on my memory card. I there anyway I can switch the default message memory to phone memory and copy all the messages too? It doesn't prompt to copy the existing messages as it did the 1st time. This was possible in my old N70. I just had to delete the message location. on the 5800 i can't find the location of messages to do this.
i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?
Totally new to this phone, with the option to download applications. Having great fun in doing so but not always given the option of where to save them to with the end result that they are saving to the phone memory which keeps filling up and then giving me an error message. Can anyone please tell me how to move apps from the phone memory to the card memory. And can anyone also tell me if I have an icon on the 'Menu' screen and the 'Apps' screen, does this mean the application has been downloaded twice and do I need both or can I delete one (presumably the 'Menu' one)?
I recently bought Nokia 5800. When installed any jar or .sis files on Card Memory, eventually my Phone Memory is getting used. Even though I am very diligent in selecting Card Memory while installation, Phone Memory is getting reduced. Kindly Help me please.
Basically, I got the N86 a couple of weeks back. At first, it was brilliant, now it has turned totally **bleep**. It turns off randomly, it's slow and very unresponsive, and it has also corrupted my Mass Memory and Memory Card. Any ideas on what to do? Is it anything to do with the software?

I have a bunch of apps on my phone's memory I'd like to move to the memory card without uninstalling so I don't lose all the settings. is this possible? Also, where are the apps supposedly installed? is it possible to show them from the phone itself? Can't find anything from file manager.
I have an E72. By default, all the text messages were being saved on the phone memory. I've now changed that to the memory card. How do I transfer the messages from the phone memory onto the memory card? I have a mac and not a PC.

Does anyone know how to copy your contact to the MMC Memory card or internal mass memory (not sim card) on the N96 like you can do on the N95. I go into contacts and mark all then goto copy but the only option I have on the N96 is copy to sim. My old N95 gave me the option to copy to memory card.

I ordered a memory card for my 6233, and tried to copy the contents of the card to my PC, in order to get them onto the new memory card - but I get an "access denied" message when connecting the phone via my USB cable in storage mode. I assume this is because the content is copy protected.
Is there anyway of copying the data from my old miniSD card to my new one, using Windows?
My n95 was always fine, but today i made a copy of a video from the memory card to my computer and 30 minutes later i checked the gallery to view an image and the only thing i saw was "no images or videos", i have plenty of photos and videos and i didn't deleted them, i still have my songs but the cellphone can't find any image or video and i tried to move images to both memory card and phone memory. So i went to tolls and "file mgr." and searched for my photos and they are still there, and i can view them, but in the gallery nothing appears.
I've recently tried to change my message storage space. Using the "Others" settings option, I changed my text message memory to my memory card. And I was given the option of copying the messages over to my memory card, and saving the original messages. If I am not mistaken, I now have duplicates of messages on both my phone memory and my memory card. if new incoming messages will be stored on phone memory or memory card? and how do i delete the messages from my phone memory? which is better, to save on my phone or my memory card?
