I recently got the E72 and I have not experienced the infamous spacebar issue. The only real issue I'm experiencing is a lag after taking a pciture but I can live with that. My phone can be updated to the v22 FW but I have been unsuccessful in locating a changelog. Are more problems fixed with this FW or are there more issues that I am better off with my v21 FW? Are there any updaters out there that could tell me about some issues they are facing with the v22 FW? Also, are there any patches that can silence the camera shutter tone?
I want to use the phone as magnifying glass. There was an app available from Nokia Beta Labs which is not compatible with N97 mini. You could also use the"T"-button on the E71 phone. Is there such a function on N97 mini? If i zoom to max possible zoom, then the picture is not focused, and the only way i have found out so far is to take a picture and then (after viewing) throwing it away.Where is the focus button?
I am new here, but i have a problem with my E71 and I would like to know what you think about it.Or better, i would like a "nokia pro" to answer to me! 1.) Sometimes when i answer an incoming call, and i say "hello there", the caller only hears " here", its like there is a 2second gap, but when the 2seconds have passed then evrything is normal again. 2.) This consirnes me: When i unlock the phone (the phone is active), and if i put my ear on the keyboard (near the center of the keyboard) i hear a silent, it sounds like the processor. It is wery silent and you have to listen very good to hear it. A bit of that noise i can alsow hear on the speaker when making phonecalls, and thats what bothers me.Now i would like to know if anybody else alsow hears the "piiiiiii" nokise, because if that is not normal i can still take the phone back to the seller! But i have to know till Saturday! Loking forward to your answer!
I've had my E72 for a little over a month now, and I'm pretty satisfied with. I have recently come across an annoying problem though: When the phone has been turned on for some time (30-60 minutes) the camera starts to lag after taking a picture. The duration of this lag can be up to 40 seconds, and it is pretty annoying that I have to wait for that long between shots. If I turn the phone off and then on again the problem goes away for a short period and then returns.
I'm starting to get annoyed with my Nokia N97 camera, I get a Yellow line (well I say line it's half the screen) whenever I take a photo and I'm at the point of throwing the phone In the bin.I have heard of a solution of a sharpie marker pen on the side of it, but no way am I doing that, hell NO.I want Nokia to sort this out once and for all!
I have Nokia N8.Yesterday was Diwali. So, I wanted to take pics when a cracker brusts. But every time I take the snap, only the snap after the cracker brusts comes. As in digital cameras, they have a feature that once u click the button, automatically and continuosly 3 to 4 snaps will be taken.in that case we can take any pic that happens very suddenly. So, is there any app like that for Nokia N8.
I have a problem in my E72, when I try to type similar repeated number for example when I try to type 444444 the phone will take a few sec to type it please what's the solution to the problem. Note that I do a hard reset to the phone I also update the firmware.
so i got ovi maps working fine with my 5800 but on a couple of occasions it has failed but downloaded the maps.just wondering if the map loader stores map data on the hard drive temporarily? as i have noticed like 6 gb of space gone if so does anyone know where it might be?
I'm getting very fustrated when wanting to take low light photos using the Flash on the N97. Everytime I use the flash, I get whiteout towards the top left of the picture. I can do nothing about it. I never had this issue with my N82 or N95, which took great indoor/low light photos. This is clearly a fault in it's design, one that should have clearly been rectified during the development and testing of this handset. As there is nothing to deflect the flash away from the camera lense, there is a 2/3mm divider on the N82, & on the N95 the flash is far away enough to not have an impact.
Am I doing something wrong here. I take a photo with the Nokia 5800 and then I want to immediately send it by Bluetooth to my PC. Do I have to go to gallery to send it by Bluetooth only I can only see that you can send it by mms or upload to web from the camera screen, no choice about send by Bluetooth.
I'm using Nokia 5233.When i scanning memory,it shows that Other files are taking 250MB of my memory,I just want know about other files. What are those other files? Why is it taking 250MB?
I was taking some pictures today then my c3-00 halted so I removed the battery when I installed the battery again it won't start just displaying white screen for a min then shuts down.
I have a strange problem with my 6220 classic (latest firmware 05.15.217.05). It seems that whenever I take a picture using the built in camera, the SD-card's filesystem gets more or less corrupted (the pictures are saved on an 8GB MicroSD card FAT32 formatted). When checking the filesystem after taking one ore more pictures using latest dosfsck (a unix tool), errors range from "Free cluster summary wrong" (which is more or less harmless), differing FATs, and truncated files (in all my test cases images that were just taken).Other applications are also affected: I had no voice in my navigation application until I repaired the file system using fsck.
I am facing problem with the navigator on my new E6 nokia. it takes too long time to connect to connect to satellite! Before i was using E72 it was taking around 1-2 min to connect,, but with my new E6 it takes more than 15 to 20 minutes to connect! Is it normal to take this long time? Can I do something to speed it up?
The other day I attended a concert and took plenty of photos, but I had a hard time getting any of them to turn out good due to the low light, distance from the stage and the movement on stage. How does one take a good low-light photo with lots of movement without the photo getting blurry on the 1520?
I bought a Nokia 6700 slide mobile on the 26th of June, 2010. I had a great liking for this phone before buying it. The 5MP Carl Zeiss optics camera, ALS display and so many other features impressed me. But when I purchased this mobile for my birthday on June 26th, I was very much disappointed with the camera quality. Despite having a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, the pictures taken by the camera are of very poor clarity. The clarity is similar to a 1.3 MP camera and is worse when pictures are shot in any lighting condition. I had great hopes on this camera after reading so many good reviews from several websites. But, this camera is not on par with my expectations and has failed me. My Nokia 7210 Supernova mobile which I had earlier used to take pictures of excellent clarity.
Are there any adjustments to be made before taking a picture? I've used all modes specified in the Options but to no avail.
I got this phone less than a year ago, and it was great until recently, when it started slowing down and taking forever to send messages, and close screens etc. Is this a problem with the memory, or is the phone getting too old now?
Noticed this morning when my screen is off, Bluetooth is taking up 52% of battery life, media server @ 48%. I do have Moto S11 Flex Hd headphones & an up24 but I don't remember it taking up this much on the m8. Am I delusional or is this normal?
Do I have some kind of setting chosen that makes it lag so badly? I will click the shutter button and there's a big delay like it has to think about it and then it takes the picture. And by that time i've missed the shot I wanted to get or it's totally blurry.
Just got a new G4. When I use the camera app to look at things, it is very clear. However when I take a picture then look at the picture, it becomes more blurry.
I have just had the htc one s the other day. But have noticed `I can not take a picture using the 8 megapixel setting. If I do the camera just crashes and goes back to the home screen. Using any other megapixel setting seems fine...
With 4.0 to 4.0.2 the speed at which the iPhone 4 took pictures was amazing. Now with 4.1 it seems to take longer, not much longer but long enough that you can easily miss a shot.Even with HDR off it still takes some time to take a photo. On 4.0.1 I could take several photos super fast, but now the shutter comes over the screen for like a second which is much longer than before.I even tried to take a series of photos in quick succession and one turned out blank. Is it just me or is it just a result of 4.1 and the HDR feature (even though it's off)?
I lost my original backup file for my 3GS and I am getting a replacement today. I called the apple store and the mac genius told me to create a backup, I downloaded a fresh copy of itunes to my new laptop, connected the 3GS, on the icon I right clicked "create backup" and the back up started, my phone says, sync in process the little wheel is turning so I know its reading and the meter is moving but its moving very slow, I started this at 6:35am and now it's 9:02am and it's only half way. Is this normal?, does it take this long to create a first backup file? I have a 16Gb but I have 10Gb free, I dont have much in it, just about 1184 pics and some applications.
So I starting the process to upgrade my 16GB iPhone 3G last night to OS4. After a few hours I stopped it because it kept getting hung up during the backup, or so I thought. I then deleted all the video on my phone, thinking that would speed thinks up with the backup. I got my data down to less than 3GB, started the download again and went to bed.
After letting the download run all night, I checked it today only see it again appears to be stuck at around 1% of the backup process. I will let it run for another day, but are you kidding me?
How many days does it take to finish this freaking upgrade?
