E72 doesn't retrieve new email since last Friday, the push gmail email was working great and stop working anymore. no new email even when I clic on <send and receive now it connects to Gmail but receive nothing news. I have deleted the Gmail mailbox and then recreated it, it retrieve email until last Friday but doesn't get the news email.

I have previously used my e71 to retrieve e-mail from my Hotmail account. Now when I try to do this, it is showing a screen with a red "@" above a box asking for a password to be entered. I have not knowingly set a password for this function and therefore can no longer retrieve e-mails. how I can get my e-mail access back?
View 4 Replies View RelatedA day or two after the upgrade to firmware v40 I noticed that the phone doesn't disconnect from my WiFi connection after checking email. Previously WiFi would disconnect after it was done checking email.This happens for more than one WiFi destination (home & work), and I have verified that the connection's advanced settings do show that power saving mode is ON.
I've verified that there are no apps running in the b/g that requires connection, and if I manually disconnect the WiFi connection, then it stays disconnected until the next time the email check runs, at which point it does not disconnect automatically.

I downloaded the new updated version 023.002 on my Nokia E72, however the e-mail setup for gmail & yahoo or Ovi does not work, every time I try to enter the e-mail setting while conected to Wi-Fi, the phone does not save the setting & I should try again & again with no success.

Only when I connect to wifi am I able to do so. I called AT&T and was informed that there is a glitch in the blackberry OS that RIM is working on, but it appears that when you connect to wifi it creates an issue that makes it unable to get or send e-mail via 3G from now on.This is a terrible problem and I am seriously pissed off.
