I got a blackberry torch. I set up my emails before and then I updated my phone and wiped everything off. Now when I go to set up my emails again its asking me for a user name and password.. Which I don't remember.. How do I retrieve the username and password?

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently my mum's iPhone 5 stopped working and she tried to take it back to Apple for repair but they said they couldn't fix it until she gave them her login details however she has forgotten everything but still remembers the security questions. What can she do to get her login details back so she can fix her phone? I was thinking we go to the Apple Store and give them some details about the account such as the address used, security questions and date of birth used on the account but i'm not sure if that works. Is it possible?

For instance, I had to fix my all of my profiles sounds after backing up, and I went to my Blackberry Appworld, scrolled over to My Appworld and it says 'no downloads' and I have downloaded a lot of applications. That's not really a problem for me, as long as I get messages when updates come out for the apps...? Now, I am trying to setup another email address and when going to 'email setup wizard', I am being prompted for a Username and Password. I don't remember ever making a username or password for email setup, but was able to firgure out I could put my PIN in for my password to be sent, which it was. BUT I still do not know what my username is, and I've tried my email addresses with and without what's after the @ and still no luck.

I have e-mail set up on my phone. I want to add another but this time it asks me for my username and password to access the setup. I've tried every combination i can think of with no joy. Spoke to my provider (O2) and they say this is a Blackberry UN & PW. tried my blackberry id and every other combination but still can't get in. Where did this username and password come from? Are they something sent to me by blackberry, or are they my own creation?

I do not have a password enabled on my phone. It will give a forgotten password option and asks for a username. No matter what email address I give it tells me the password was successfully sent to my blackberry, but it does not appear in any of my email addresses. I have shut off the phone; taken out the sim card and battery and started back up and that doesn't change it either.
