The loudspeaker on my E71 suddenly stopped working one morning. The morning alarm was just a vibration without the sound. I tried restart, battery reset and factory reset. No luck. The key tones and hands free works though.Thought of taking it to the NokiaCare, and somehow struck to me to gently blow air on the speakers. Suddenly it started working. But not consistently. comes on and off. What could be the problem? Is it a bad speaker component?
My Nokia 2730 rings a low sound first and then 4 sec it rings in a high sound but in the settings - incoming call - it is in ringing but it is working like ascending how is that.
As of yesterday, my sound on my phone will not work. No ringer, no text, no alarms, no music.etc. I have checked all the settings and made sure the volume on the side control panel is on.I did just update my Apple phone, Mac, & iTunes the other day.Would this have anything to do with it?
My iphone ringer sometimes not working. Specially MSGs, Music, Videos. Im in IOS 8.1.2. at those times when i press sound increase buttons it shows like this.
I have a Droid X with Android version 2.3.4 (system version 4.5.621). The phone ringer stopped working and I have to completely shut off the phone and turn it back on to get it to work, but then it will randomly stop working again. Also, the camera will take a picture but when you go to the gallery the picture is not there and it just shows a generic icon. I've done a factory reset on the phone twice and the issues keep coming back.
after running i disconnected my iphone headset. since then my iphone speakers have stopped working. i can still listen to music using headphones and the phone ringer still works but the speakers are silent. when i adjust the volume it indicates it is in "headphone" mode.
I am running 2.1 and my phone ringer stopped working a few days. No changes to the phone, or new application, or physical damage. The symptom is incoming calls vibrate, but don't ring. If I check the ringtone by selecting a different tone, it plays Ok. Volume is fine also, set for independent control for incoming volume and phone ring. I have tried power cycling, removing the battery, checking my settings, and calling from different numbers (different ring tones).
What's the easiest way to turn off/on the Phone Ringer? I know I can do it by going to Settings>ringtones+sounds>Ringer, but this is not very convenient when you need to temporarily disable the Ringer for meetings, etc. at work. There must be a faster/easier way, but I haven't found it yet -- and God forbid I have to read the manual.
My iPhone 4 volume keys and silent/ringer keys are not working and it doesn't ring and vibrate when i get a call or text and neither the sound working when i use any app like games etc. but when i go to settings and change the ringtone then its ringing and the sound is working when i play music but there is a problem as well the headphone dock is not working.
Does anyone know if there is a really quick way of adjusting the ringer volume on the n900 without having to go into profiles. I thought there might be a shortcut key or something.
Referring to Nokia 5800, is their a simpler way to access the Volume/Ringer controls other than going into Profiles? I read somewhere about being able to create a Shortcut in my Apps to these functions.
I've looked at the manuals & contacted Virgin phones support but still can't undo this to restore the ringer. All I want to do is restore the ringer as currently it doesn't ring merely buzzes briefly. Currently at the foot of the dispay it says - Ringer off & there an icon of a speaker crossed out.
My wife is a teacher so her phones ringer is off during school hours. The problem is that she forgets to turn it back on and when I need to get in touch, no dice. Is there a way to have the ringer auto turn off at say 7am and auto turn back on at 4:30pm? Its a HTC One.
i bought this bb curve 9320 on 15 Aug 2012 from mobile store, since then i'm facing this issue of ringer going off n device reboot all of a sudden, got this checked twice with redington service center, according to redington official software needs to be updated, but they are themselves are not sure whether it will solve my problem or not, infact they suggested to use the device on 2g mode only, have checked the version, it has a latest version installed i.e 7.1.0 bundle 1319. Request help. I'm very disappointed the way blackberry provide customer service and cud not believe that this is actually happening, 15 k price tag not worth for this kind of device
I noticed recently that my X10 just vibrates on incoming calls even if volme is full out, but yet my text message tone is audible. I also noticed that sometimes the ringer volume is fully silent even if I havent adjusted it. I did do a software repair & it rang for just a few times after that but Im back square one!
Every time i use the left side volume button, or sound settings cog, and try to set my phone to vibrate, the ringer goes to vibrate, but the notifications automatically ho to silent. I want to set BOTH ringer and notifications to to vibrate.
